Douglas Wilson's work as a decorative artist and designer has been celebrated in The New York Times, Elle Decor and House & Garden — and now on Trading Spaces. His background in the theatrical arts has given him a unique vision, helping him forge a new way of seeing through the imaginative use of paint, pencils and unusual found objects. Doug's Trading Spaces homeowners find themselves in the company of famous clients, such as Brooke Astor and Liza Minnelli — although we suspect their budgets were a bit higher.

I'm weird. I like Doug. Don't like 100% of his ideas, but I feel that way about all the designers.
He did surprise me though, in the way he was so agreeable with the HO's in the premiere. I was like ... 'maybe we should check under his bed for pods'.
