I can understand them not being excited.
I thought the room was hideous.
Adults don't generally want bedrooms like that.

I'd love a room like that. Except I'd want a functioning ladder, of course. It's utility in the bedroom is limitless!

I especially enjoy the creativeness of John Bruce I.e. lamps, food color and baby oil guitar stands, etc.

    Ellen,

I hope you got to see the episode where Teresa tricked Andrew into wearing boxer shorts.

I love decorating shows but haven't watched this one that often. I was partial to Trading Spaces, still am.

I call the show "Whilst you away".

I like Trading Spaces better too. WYWO is a fine show but since you're only dealing with one homeowner, if he or she's not entertaining or engaging, then you've only got castmembers Teresa, Andrew, Leslie and whoever the designer is that episode to watch.

Host Teresa's good at her "if you guess right you win this, but if you guess wrong you win that" schtick (well, it makes me laugh), but former host Anna Bocci was a lot more energetic and fun.

I find Teresa generally more amusing than Anna was, she does come out with some good off the cuff comments.

The fact that the carpenter Andrew is such a major whiner annoys me though.
