Wow...Laurie using green and yellow in a room? How revolutionary...:rolleyes

I liked the room OK, though.

The room turned out ok, although I must confess that I hate horizontal painted stripes. But interesting color choices, not sure I like the black there, but can't figure any other color to replace it either (except maybe same white as TV armoire). Seemed like the owners liked it, they wanted something a little different, and they got it.

I didn't like the olive shade in the striped wall.
It wasn't olive enough for me and I didn't really like the fact that that was a very yellow based green and the light sage se used on the other walls is a blue based green.

I liked the idea of the table, but didn't like the fabric on the top.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't think the sage matched. That drives me bonkers when people do that , just throw different tones of the same color together and assume they match.
And yes, Lauries color scheme was revolutionary for her :rolleyes

Hi katie, long time no see

The stripe wall was just a little "loud" for me.
I'd have preferred to see more understated colours.

As usual she went crazy on the fabric spending.
Those pillows she made for the couches are far too big to be practical.
There is no way you'd sit on that couch and not have to sling the pillows on the floor.
They were too large and too full of stuffing to ever be effective as a back cushion.

She always goes for design over practicality, whereas Vern considers both.
