I thought this was pretty restrained for a "Frank room". I liked it.

I wish he hadn't used tab top curtains as I just don't like them.
I also wish his drapes had been the same colour as the walls.

It was quite okay, I think pretty much what the people wished for and they'll keep it. And their old curtains somewhat match the "new" room as well, so they can get some seasonal change cheap.

I would definitely swap the curtains he used for the ones they already had.

The purple did nothing for me.

Quite restrained for Frank, but I HATE the fuchsia slipcovers.

I hope this isn't redundant because I don't have time to go through and read all the old threads, but has ANYONE ever used slipcovers and liked them? Don't they always get all rumply everytime you sit on them? It seems like every time you got up, you'd be tucking in the slipcovers to try to make them look tight again. I've heard about the PVC pipe trick, but even still, isn't the problem still there? I also think they look sort of cheap.

On the whole, no wow...but its tasteful ..and yes I agree no one likes slip covers....but if your keeping furniture and changing colors in the room...some times its one of the few options you have...with a $1000 it may be your only one...fabric is cheap....
