    Love at First Flight (Lifetime)

Nothing tests a budding relationship like travel and the new series “Love at First Flight” takes it a step further, matching new couples to embark on a romantic (and stressful) journey across North America — with the chance to get married at the airport immediately after their final flight lands. Meeting for the first time in New York, the couples criss-cross the country towards Los Angeles, as their compatibility is tested not only by the unpredictable pressures of travel but also by a series of uniquely crafted travel-based challenges.

This show premiered this past week after Married at First Sight. Did anyone else watch? I have to wonder who these experts are because I think at least one couple is going to split up before the midway point in the trip! In particular, I don't think Cale and Jenna are going to make it to the end. He's right that she is SO negative. She complains about everything! Why would you agree to be on a show like this if you weren't open to new things? He's adorable and seems really sweet and she's terrible to him.

Aside from the little hiccup () where Alma decided she wasn't into Michael and wanted to bail after night one, I think the other couples feel more well-suited.

I watched! Is Jenna the teacher and Cale the lawyer?
Jenna was horrible from the minute they met.
    She’s so snarky and difficult.
Cale should get an award for putting up with her!

Haven't watched the show but I did see a review in our local paper. Michael and Stephanie were raised in the same county I reside in. I hope they are not too obnoxious.

Yep, Jenna's still behaving like a snotty little princess. Cade is certainly nicer than I am. I would have given her the boot already! So what if they have to sleep in a tiny house? Those things are cool! It's like an adventure and she's saying "no" to everything. That eye roll is pure 15-year old. I can't get over the fact that she's a teacher. Those poor kids. I hope she's nicer to them than she has been on this show.

So far, I think Stephanie and Ryan and Stephanie and Michael have the best chance at success. And Jenna has the best chance of being left somewhere next to the highway!

I agree, Critical. What a pill Jenna is! Why on Earth did she sign up for this? I feel bad for her kindergarteners. What a Debbie Downer. I was done with her when she said she did not vote. Great role model for her students.

Stephanie and Michael are both from faith-based homes but for some reason they are not jelling as well as I thought they would be.

Michael the accountant is from a town 2 towns away from me. I am going to ask my friend if she knows their family. He seems nice enough but Alma has some issues. I do not think they are a good match.

Stephanie and Ryan seem to like each other a lot. I don't find him attractive at all but she seems to think so, so that is all that matters. Shallow of me but fair game as they put themselves out there.

It seems like Stephanie and Michael have a similar problem to Monet and Vaughan in the first season of Married at First Sight. Monet claimed to to be looking for a "traditional" partner, based on her upbringing, but didn't really think through what that meant. Both Stephanie and Michael are very religious and I'm sure indicated to the match makers that religiosity was important in their partner, but Stephanie is also quite independent and not really eager to have a man just lead her. Michael seems to be having a hard time with her being such a strong personality. Maybe he wanted someone meeker? I think they're both very cautious, which works in life, but maybe not on a show like this where they only have a month.

Ryan seems like a nice guy, but those eyebrows are too much.

Maybe Jenna will watch herself on this show and realize what she's presenting to the world and then make some adjustments. Maybe her inner dialogue is super sweet. Probably not, but you never know. I really feel for Cale. He's so sweet and is trying so hard to make the best of things.
