I don't want to sound mean, but every one of us has a 50/50 chance of surviving every day.

Dog and Beth have built a reputation of being publicity hogs. They were together how many years before they got married? And I think they only got married because they could use the wedding on their show.

I'm sorry she's ill, but there's already a lot of drama just in the announcement. It feels like they're just trying to capitalize on her illness because their Bounty Hunter show isn't on any more, and they don't have anything else to sell. This is no different from the Alaskan Bush People shilling Ami's illness.

Even though I'm disgusted by their selling her illness for profit, I wish her well.

I donít know their situation. Perhaps they need money for treatment? Knowing how expensive insurance is, many people canít afford to be sick.
If I were ill Iíd spend my time and energy being with the people I love and doing what I love. I hope that they beat this cancer and live a long happy life together.

Their house in Honolulu is 5 bedrooms, 5 baths - plus they are reported to have a house in Colorado. I don't think affording insurance is their problem.

Stay away from the casinos AZ! Thank god that is not true or we would lose half the remaining earth's population every day.

You're speaking mathematically; I'm speaking philosophically. (Does that make sense? I'm not sure if that's the right word.) Every ONE of us has a 50/50 chance; not the population as a whole. Either we will make it, or we won't. Fortunately, the mathematical odds are in our favor, as the average age is currently over 78 in the USA. Each of us starts out with a 1 in 28,740 chance (average number of days between birth and death). The odds drop every day. But the bottom line is, we will live through the day, or we won't. 50/50.

Reminds me of an old anti-cigarette commercial from many years ago. The voice-over said, "The death rate for people who smoke is higher than the death rate for people who don't." That was technically incorrect. The death rate for everyone is 100%. They meant when you compare ages, sexes, etc., people who smoke tend to die younger than people who don't. But their blanket statement with no clarification was wrong.

And I do stay away from casinos. LOL. I know about those odds!
