I think that Tracy's repeated comments about him proposing to her turned him off. Had she not continued harping (not to mention her telling him it was his "job" to do the proposing) incessantly, I think he would've been open to the possibility of exploring the relationship further outside of the house. But he valued his parents' opinions and did not want to get married like that. To have your own parents say they would not come to your wedding because they didn't think they really knew each other would be tough on anyone. And honestly, I do see their point to an extent. All they were saying is get to know each other better first.

I'll never know when he knew she wasn't the one, but feeling that pressure from someone might turn me off from them completely, too.

    Re: The Spouse House

I found a recap online, but I won't post it here because the site had TERRIBLE pop-ups - like 10 of them for ONE page.

    Basically:
    • Naya and Danny are still happy and together
    • Kelli Jo and Jimmy - ditto
    • Tom is alone, which is exactly what he deserves (seriously, what was the big deal with him?)
    • Albert, who proposed to Ashley Lauren and was denied, made another play for her and she agreed to go out with him (yay! I was sad when he went home)
    • Chris and Missy are still together (she's lightened up on the vaccine thing), but of course, Missy was a bitch to Brianne because that's who she is
    • Scott and Tracy are sort of dating, even though he literally said she wasn't "the one"
    • Isabella and Darren are together and in love, but still working on "issues"
I think that covers the highlights!

    Great recap, Critical!

I was really surprised by this show. At first, the whole 'idea' of it was just ridiculous to me, but amazingly, I think this show made more love connections and marriages in one season than any other couple show that I can think of.

And I'm especially happy for Kelli Jo. So far, it looks like she ended up with just the right person for her. Being with Tom would've been a nightmare (she really escaped a bullet on that one) and Chris, who seemed so nice and a good fit for her in the beginning, turned out to be just the opposite. But Jimmy said he fell in love with her at first sight, and he seems to be treating her so wonderfully (and vice versa), it just warms my heart that they're both so happy together.

I read on another site that Danny and Naya are no longer together but do not have any link. I feel bad for her cute son as he and Danny seemed to enjoy sports together.

I'm really sad to hear that. I guess it's a lot to hope for, that a marriage taking place so quickly would last --- but every once in a while it does happen. I feel especially bad for Naya's son too, but maybe he and Danny still have a relationship.
