    Re: Survivor: New Zealand

It certainly would be cool to finally have a winner who survived Redemption Island.

I too would love to see an international Survivor contestant go on American Survivor, although they'd probably have to make up a backstory about immigrating to the US. The US Survivor rulebook says that only US citizens can apply, and Sala would be the first exception in the entire 35-season history. I think, that if the contestants were to stop and think about why Survivor cast a New Zealander for the first time, that New Zealand Survivor would be their first instinct.

I thought the consecutive tribal councils were unfair, makes it too easy to do a Pagonging.

Barb out of nowhere is starting to become a devious master strategist.

I love the way the host says "Nicaragua."

Jak, probably aware that it's his last night in the game, shows up at tribal in a loincloth. Funny guy, i'll miss him - Nate put it best when he said that Jak doesn't care if you're laughing with him or at him, he just wants to spread the laughter.

Shannon over-strategizes and bites the dust again. I'm hoping Jak wins the Redemption challenge, but the recap at the beginning of the episode was praising Mike so highly, that it's all but guaranteed to be him.

Poor choice on Barb's part to get rid of Nate. They'll probably not get another chance to eliminate him. And now Nate's back and probably not willing to play with her. Too bad about Jak being gone.
