Jeez at least Frank wouldn't put a grave in someones bedroom.
Ugly isn't even close to what this room was.

I guess the main thing it that the HO really liked what Kia did to her room, but I just kept thinking to myself, "What in the hell is she doing???" I could have dealt with the Astro Turf...until she put it on the bed.

Doug's room, on the other hand, was quite nice. I really liked what he and the HO's did with it. However, in the recap (or whatever it's called...the part where Paige talks to the designer about the room before bringing in the HO's), Paige made a big deal out of "what he did" to the armoire/entertainment center...what did he do?

Oh My, that astrotruf bedspread was awful. UHG.
Lobeck, he just made a new armoir I think. Out of trash wood he got from somewhere. I honestly didn't like it all. In fact I didn't like either of those rooms

Had to add, my husband said Kia's room looked like something Steven King would do

Kia, Kia, Kia ..... what the HECK was that mess???? OH MY HECK!! I still can't believe the HO's liked the room....what were they on at the time????? (musta been something good) The rocks under the swing, the astroturf, the patio stone walkway things, YUKK YUKK YUKK...also, I don't think the computer desk looked too much better than the door on the 2 filing cabinets..what was the point in making sure we took note of it at the beginning of the show??? I'll give it to her that she made the best of that ladder box that was bolted to the floor, that really looked cute all done up as a flower box. Also, what the heck is it with her and this border wallpaper?? (she and Edward seem to have their quirks when it comes to things, her and the border stuff, and him and that roping for borders)

Anyways....not much impressed with Doug's room this time either (loved him in the cowboy hat and freaking the girls out with the feet on the brownies, but hated the room). I'm not sure exactly what it was, but the only good thing (and good thing it was since it took the most time) was the wall treatment IMO. Didn't like the red and green with the gold, wasn't that impressed with his scrapwood armoire, just blah to me.

Thankfully it was the guest room and not the master bedroom.

I think the room is beyond hideous.

How the hell can Doug be so close to budget when he didn't change the carpeting or cover the sofa's.
How many times do we have to see his venetian plaster techniques?
Jesus Christ - we get it Doug.
