Has anyone heard of the progress that Ozzy is making? His new series is due to start soon. I watch Sharon's show each day hoping that when the show is live and not reruns they will give an update.

OZZY OSBOURNE's wife, Sharon, says the smashed rocker will take ``six months'' to recover from injuries resulting from an ATV accident last week. She also told GMTV Ozzy will have a seven-inch steel plate fitted in the back of his neck because of a cracked vertebra. ``He will be back, he's not going anywhere. He'll be ordering everybody around, don't worry,'' she said.

    Some newer news:

    Osbourne 'nearly died' in crash

Singer Ozzy Osbourne has said he twice stopped breathing after being injured in a quad bike crash, it is reported.

Osbourne told the Sunday Mirror he was saved by his bodyguard Sam Ruston who gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

"If it wasn't for Sam I probably wouldn't be here. He had to bring me back to life twice," he said.

Osbourne, 55, was in a coma for eight days after breaking eight ribs and puncturing a lung in the grounds of his Buckinghamshire mansion in December.

He said the accident had finally made him "grow up". He admitted he had not been wearing a crash helmet at the time of the accident.

"I'll never go near one of those damn bikes again," he said. "The thing nearly killed me. I am lucky to be here today and not paralysed."

At the end of last year Osbourne was voted rock star of the year in a poll of Virgin Radio listeners.

Has Sam Ruston, Ozzy's bodyguard, ever been on the Osbournes? If so, I cannot recollect who he is.

I've never heard this before, so I dont really know....but coming from Ozzy's home town I would have thought I'd have picked up on something....however what I will say is that just because a tabloid says this came out in an interview with ozzy himself doesnt always automatically mean this is 100% true. It wouldnt be the first time something said has been blown out of all proportion. But I surpose on the other hand surely if it was untrue there would now be a law suit shortly there after against the particular tabloid.
