Yeah, some of the old shows had really bad sound tracks too.

I had a craving to watch 24 again - after binge watching a few years ago. Netflix no longer streams it, but Amazon Prime picked it up and I'm now on season 6 - KABOOM!

ETA: I recently found out HBO is included in my new cable package and I was upset that all the series were in progress. What I discovered, but haven't checked out, is that ROKU carries an HBO channel. I'll take a peek and see if that is part of the inclusive package from cable. If, so...I'll see you all in a year.

Breaking Bad is another one I watched a few seasons and then just got annoyed at the ridiculous bad decisions and stopped.
I binged Game of Thrones. That was fun. Up to the beginning of this season and then I found a way to watch them each week.
Next time I need a series to binge, I'm coming here for ideas.

Giving a shoutout to Heartland. We got hooked on Netflix and we truly love it. We ended up purchasing the remaining seasons since Netflix only goes up to season six.

On the other hand, Netflix streaming starts Eureka at season 6. It doesn't go all the way back to season 1. Booo

However, if you are a NCIS fan, it does start that series with season 1...at least it did last I looked.

Upstairs Downstairs is on Netflix? I never saw the original so I'll queue that one up for sure. Speaking of PBS, wouldn't it be great if they released An American Family -- that 1970s docuseries that pretty much invented reality TV? I was just a kid when that came out but it was my favorite show. I tried getting into Bloodline -- I really, really tried -- because of Kyle Chandler but it just didn't grip.

Two great series to binge on:

*Friday Night Lights. An amazing show with incredible acting and storylines. I passed this up when it aired on TV because the backdrop is high school football, but it's about much more.

*Six Feet Under. It's still good years later.

I got the whole Upstairs - Downstairs series from the public library. In fact, that's where I got all of the other Masterpiece Theater classic series as well. Your library might even have An American Family.
