    Feed the Beast on AMC

FEED the BEAST on AMC on SUNDAY nights.

Tonight: AMC's 'Feed the Beast' is bittersweet, delicious | Tube Talk | stltoday.com

I have FTB on my dvr. But have not seen it yet.

DID any FoRT fans see it yet?

    What are your thoughts?

The above article states its DS's best work to date. Hmm.

Thanks for letting me know about this one, Karen! I'll watch episode 1 now on OnDemand and add the rest to my DVR!

When I first saw the thread name I thought it was about the FLDS! LOL

No, you missed the discussion in []Sister Wives[/I] this morning. (I don't watch the show, but read the thread.) "Feeding the Beast", primarily among FLDS sects, means taking the government to the cleaners by men creating basically 'unwed' mothers of the wives so they can collect aid from the government. They just discussed it this morning. I'd never heard the term before. And, this thread on the same day? Eerie!

I just watched the premiere! Great story and actors, and the cooking scenes make me want to b a chef! (Except for all the hard work and running around crazy.) I'm definitely in to this series!

Because of the article you posted, I was watching for the 'cooking' scenes and noticed how sensuous, sumptuous, colorful and enticing they were! (I want to eat every one of those things he cooks!) I'm throwing out the salt shaker so I can drizzle sea salt from my fingers over my husband's raviolis and salad, when served to him. I can't be sure that would happen on his alternating cooking night.

I noticed no additional comments have been posted since 06/06. I made it in to Episode 3 and finally gave up. Each character makes stupid decisions all of the time and I have no patience for that level of stupidity (constant lying, crime, more lies, jumping to conclusions which results in violence, even more lying). I realize that in real life, people do make stupid decisions (I sure have) but the plot of Feed The Beast is only about all of their stupid decisions. I wanted to like it because I always love to watch shows where cooking is integrated into the plot. Sadly, this is now off of my DVR.

I watched the pilot episode and couldn't get into it. It felt like it was going to focus A LOT on the mob problems of the friend who just got out of jail.
