Yeah, if Hank is interested in anyone in a romantic way, it is Kara's sister. Not sure even the last surviving Martian finds humans sexually attractive though. Any comic book readers who can supply input on that one?

    Supergirl Season 1 Episode 13
For the Girl Who Has Everything
Aired Monday 8:00 PM Feb 08, 2016 on CBS

Supergirl - Season 1, Episode 13: For the Girl Who Has Everything - TV.com

A parasitic alien traps Kara in a dream world where her family is alive and her home planet was never destroyed. As her friends try to save her, it's unclear whether the native Kryptonian wants to be awoken. Meanwhile, with Supergirl out of commission, Alex, Hank and the DEO must fend off an attack on their own.
It was nice to see Kryton and Kara's family as well as young Kal-El. I liked that Team Kara (Win, James & Alex) are working well together, both during the crisis and after at Kara's apartment. I liked that they got Hank to impersonate Kara but I think the writers missed a golden opportunity to really go for it between Hank Kara and Cat Grant, it would have been epic. Luv'ed seeing Hank in full Martian Manhunter mode. Kara's fight with Non seemed a tad staged as really who would just stand waiting to be hit. Can't believe they actually killed someone on this show too bad it wasn't Maxwell Lord. Overall enjoyed the episode.

    Supergirl Season 1 Episode 14
Truth, Justice and the American Way
Aired Monday 8:00 PM Feb 22, 2016 on CBS

Supergirl - Season 1, Episode 14: Truth, Justice and the American Way - TV.com

Supergirl battles the deadly Master Jailer, who is hunting and executing Fort Rozz escapees; at the same time, a second assistant hired by Cat tries to one-up Kara at every turn; James and Kara find themselves in a disagreement over the DEO's methods
Individual parts of this episode are good, the writers do have a theme of moral values, of being strong and doing the right thing and I think this show works well as a family show and for young girls, that being said when you view this episode as a whole is it one mess full of contradictory moral values. It doesn't make any sense. At any one time one of the characters is on a moral soap box preaching this is what you should do and then it is totally contradicted moments later. All I can say is that the writers must have been drinking or doing crack as the episode makes no sense. What is a total kicker is at the end of the episode Kara and the DEO free Max Lord because it is the right thing to do and James Olsen was on a tirade about not abusing his human rights and yet after all that pontificating the minute Kara walks out the room hoping Max Lord will do the right thing, Alex tells Max Lord to toe the line or else. Isn't that total hypocrisy and flies in the face of what are moral values that was the theme for this episode? Way to confuse your audience.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supergirl_(TV_series)

A hacker steals information from a cheating website and asks Cat to release it. When Cat refuses, the hacker disrupts the city's infrastructure by interfering with its computer system. The hacker is revealed to be Indigo, who was on Fort Roz, and who enabled Kara to escape the Phantom Zone. Her true plan is to destroy National City with a nuclear missile but her attempt is foiled by Supergirl. Meanwhile, Kara is still mad at Hank and refuses to return to the DEO, although she does eventually, only to be told by Alex that it was she who killed her aunt.
The hacker played by Laura Vandervoort was a hoot. Vandervoort played Kara Zor-el/Supergirl on The CW's Smallville series and is currently playing Elena Michaels on the SYfy's Bitten. I luv Vandervoort, she has so much dedication and focus playing the bad guy that she clearly was the star of this episode. Indigo is also known as Brainiac 8 from the planet Colu. Brainiac is a supervillain and foe of Superman. Brainiac 5 is a long standing member of the Legion of Superheroes. There was a Legion ring in the Fortress of Solitude. Brainiac 5 and Supergirl were or will be boyfriend and girlfriend. So much for background info, what the heck is up with Italia Ricci as Siobhan Smythe keeping the usb drive and kissing Win. I did think it was funny how Alex can looking for Win as the DEO needed his computing power and not Supergirl. Overall I liked this episode and it was the strongest one they have had in a long time.

Forgot to mention that I thought Indigo's power to travel through the internet and cell phones was cool as was the effect. Indigo also has some good hand to hand combat skills and the fights looked great.

    Falling
Aired Monday 8:00 PM Mar 14, 2016 on CBS

    Supergirl - Season 1, Episode 16: Falling - TV.com

Kara has a major personality change after being exposed to Red Kryptonite. As her friends and the citizens of National City face a malicious and dangerous Supergirl, Cat appears as a guest on "The Talk."
I admit it was fun watching Supergirl throw Cat Grant off her building. Watching Melissa Benoist be a snarly, bitchy girl was a ton of fun and to showed me that Melissa has some acting chops. I luv'ed the new bodysuit outfit the girl rocks the body and hopefully that is the last we will see of James Olson, I can only hope. Also loved the new work outfits.

Max Lord being sorry he invented red kryptonite I am not too sure about as it seems totally out of character. I don't think I like the reveal of Hank as the Martian Manhunter.

The Flash/Supergirl cross over is in two weeks.

OMG, Barry Allen + Kara Danvers = ADORABLE! Great chemistry between Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin - did they ever work together on Glee? One of the better crossovers I've seen.

    Supergirl Season 1 Episode 17
    Manhunter
Aired Monday 8:00 PM Mar 21, 2016 on CBS

    Supergirl - Season 1, Episode 17: Manhunter - TV.com

While Hank's first meeting with Jeremiah is shown, Siobhan plots against Kara, who is deciding whether to trust someone else with her secret identity.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supergirl_(TV_series)

While Kara is trying to win back National City's trust, Marine Colonel James Harper (Eddie McClintock) begins an investigation into the J'onn affair, with Lucy, having re-enlisted into the Army at her previous rank of Major, as his legal assistant. After learning that Hank and Alex are on their way to Project Cadmus, Kara tells Lucy that she is Supergirl and convinces her to help rescue Hank and Alex. Hank learns that Jeremiah is still alive, so he and Alex go on the run to find him, but not before manipulating Harper into resigning from the Marines and appointing Lucy as the acting director of the DEO. Meanwhile, Siobhan tries to get revenge on Kara for getting her fired, but gets caught and discovers that she has the power to sonic scream.
While I like how this series presents the character of J'onn J'onzz The Martian Manhunter I strongly dislike how they are handling some of the aliens. I don't believe for a second they know what powers J'onn has. Why in the world would Superman tell an agency he has doubts about anything about J'onn. Do I really believe our government has found a way to suppress J'onn's telepathy? No I do not. While that little gadget was supposed to suppress his telepathy it didn't suppress his strength or ability to fly or his power of invisibility or intangibility. He could have simply slipped out of his handcuffs. Considering he is the last of his race they cannot guarantee that any gadget would work on him after all they don't have any dead or live subjects to experiment on until now. I also totally disliked that after Alex passed the lie detector test all that scientific data was thrown out because Lucy Lane said so, on no evidence except a gut feeling. That was just lame. On top of that Supergirl revels her secret identity to Lucy. I am amazed that The Flash and Supergirl don't take out 10 ft ad space and simply tell the world who they are. Now on top of all that Jeremiah Danvers is still alive after what being presumed dead for the last 10 to 15 years.

    Supergirl Season 1 Episode 18
    Worlds Finest
Aired Monday 8:00 PM Mar 28, 2016 on CBS

    Supergirl - Season 1, Episode 18: Worlds Finest - TV.com

The Flash arrives in National City from an alternate universe. He teams up with Supergirl to battle the villains Livewire and Silver Banshee, in exchange for Supergirl's help finding him a way to return home.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supergirl_(TV_series)

Siobhan discovers that the women in her family are cursed with the spirit of a banshee, which can only be quieted by killing whoever wronged them. Deciding to kill Kara, Siobhan frees Livewire from captivity at the DEO and suggests they team up. Siobhan—now calling herself Silver Banshee—and Livewire kidnap Cat and wreak havoc in National City Park. With the help of The Flash (Grant Gustin), a superhero from an alternate universe (see Arrowverse), Kara is able to subdue them and win back National City's trust. Later on, Kara discovers everyone in National City have fallen under mind control, revealed by Non to be the Myriad effect.
This episode was fantastic. This is the way Supergirl should be written, smart, witty, snarky oneupsmanship, fun and interesting plotting. If the writers could manage to do this every episode this would be a great show for both adults and kids. Grant Gustin as Barry Allen was a breath of fresh air to this series he added so much life and it was great to see Barry and Win hit it off so well. In fact if James was totally written out of this episode or edited out I would never have missed him. Just saying. He was only necessary for the plot point needed to make us viewers curious as to what is going to happen in the next episode. I have mentioned before how uneven I have felt this series has been and I hope this episode is a great example of what they want to be and how to act as an ensemble.

Best snark: Cat describing Win, Barry, James and Carry as a representative of a diverse yet non threatening CW TV show cast.

Points: Since when is a civilian left to wander around a secret agency secret headquarters without escort just so she can overhear an interrogation between Lucy and Livewire?

    Best names:
Shout out to all the names people called each other in this episode. Cape and Skirt, Sparky, Shrieky, Dynamic Duo, Evil Taylor Swift Squad, The Blur, et al.

From the TV.com - Free Full Episodes, Clips, Show Info and TV Listings Guide review:

Even though superhero shows are a formula, things blended more easily in this one, and that was helped by the good nature of both Supergirl and The Flash and the luminescence of Benoist and Gustin. Sure, these two shows crossing over was narratively the only option, but it was such a good combination. We really lucked out with this being possible. Could you imagine if Green Arrow showed up in National City? It would just be Oliver, James, and Winn sitting in a room together listening to The Smiths.

Win: "Dude, I was in love with this girl, and she just doesn't feel that way same about it. I've mostly come to terms with it. Also: My most recent crush is now a supervillain."

James: "Dude, I've got this weird fetish (or so some TV critic says) for human-looking aliens with god-like powers, and I can't decide what to do about it. Also: I got mind-controlled by some weird alien device when she kissed me."

Arrow: "Dude, my fiancée just dumped me because I didn't tell her about my secret love child with another woman from like five years ago that I didn't even know I had. Also: she quit my superhero team, and now we don't have a computer wizard."

Man. These guys are a bunch of sad sacks.

Overall this episode was a lot of fun.

The last two episodes of the season will air on April 11 and April 18.
