Holy wow - I love this show. Of course I couldn't fall asleep after I watched it.

I'm curious to see what Liz's backstory is.

I actually jumped twice watching it.

Who was the guy that the junky was sewing in the bed at the beginning? Anyone know? He said, "You lied to me ('bout letting him go)".

He looked familiar...but I just couldn't remember. arghh

Didn't Sally reply to him something like "You can't cheat death" ?
Mainly because of that, I took it to be the junkie from episode 1, the one who was, ... erm ... "in the clutches" of the demon until she convinced him to tell her he loved her.

Too bad for him that he didn't let Iris dissuade him from checking in when she first tried to.

Yes, Sally (thanks for remembering names!) did say that to him. But, iirc, he had dark hair. I THINK.

Urgh, It could be that I've got it all wrong - I'm tellin' ya, the lighting in the Cortez is hard on old eyes like mine.

I know...I have to watch it in complete darkness.

I love the children's playroom - such a nod to Kubrick.

That was indeed the addict that was in a *compromising position* lol when Sally told him to tell her he loved her. Later the police detective was laying on the same bed, and it panned quickly underneath to the addict taking a breath and waking up. I am guessing that is what Sally meant by "you can't cheat death".

Thanks mesachick, that's what I was thinking -
but this show keeps me so off-balance that I am never 100% sure about anything.

Schmidt on New Girl and he did some McD's ads recently.
I hate when the cops throw me in the back of the squad car ....like they didn’t hear me call shotgun.
