An interesting interview by one of my favorite nominee picks, Jonathan Banks for Better Call Saul!

I'm thrilled to bits about Tatiana Maslany! I doubt she'll win (although she absolutely deserves it), but a nomination is huge for a sci fi-ish show on a cable network - and not a major one. I'm disappointed though that the show didn't get nominated. I'm a Downton Abbey fan, but NO WAY did it deserve a nomination for that weak season.

I also think Gina Rodriguez from Jane the Virgin is possibly the biggest snub this year. She's fantastic. The show deserved a nomination too. I was also surprised that The Affair didn't get any recognition. I think Rectify is the best drama on TV, but I'm not surprised it got ignored. It's sort of in the realm of "cult hit" and the Emmys tends to stick with popular shows.

As much as I love Peter Dinklage, I think his nomination was out of habit. He didn't have all that much to do this season.

Unfortunately! Gina may be suffering from the Lauren Graham curse.

Once again, the fantastic James Spader was overlooked for a best lead actor nomination for The Blacklist. I think he makes it look too easy.

I glad to see I'm not the only one who is livid about James Spader being being overlooked. I evel wondered if he was taking himself out of the nomination process, but I haven't heard anything like that. His performance is just riveting.
