    The Dovekeepers on CBS

    The Dovekeepers (TV Mini-Series 2015) - IMDb

Tonight and tomorrow night. On CBS @9pm

Based on Alice Hoffman's best-selling novel, women's paths cross during the siege of Masada in ancient Israel during the first century.

In that time, Romans forced 900 Jews to flee Jerusalem.

Me, too. My son went to a six-week program known as High School in Israel and Masada was one of the places they went to study. It was a great program that gave them college credit.

From the previews we'll see "more" of Cote than we ever did on NCIS.... They mentioned Ziva on tonight's NCIS, first time in a long time... tie in?

I made it through about half an hour and couldn't take it any more.

I did notice Tony's mention of Ziva, but I assume it was just coincidence. But perhaps not a coincidence that the first episode started immediately after an NCIS episode.

I made it a little longer than you, only because I thought it was over at 10 and wanted to give the first episode a fair shake. At 10:05, I realized it was on for another hour, and I had to bail.

I haven't watched yet, but will since I'll have DVR's of both parts and can watch them together. Masada is a wonderful story.
