I would have never watched this show had it not been for favorable reviews from you guys. I absolutely enjoyed it! I thought the casting was great and I love the witty dialogue with the twist on zombies.

Playing a bit of catch this weekend and marathoning this and some other series. I think each episode improves, the characters and story lines. This is a must watch show. Yeah, to The CW for bringing The Flash and iZombie to the screen. I am also looking forward to The Messengers. The CW is doing well with Reign, The Originals, Vampire Diaries, Arrow, The Flash and iZombie.

I agree! Surprised how much I am enjoying The CW programming. I'm interested in The Messengers, liking iZombie, and never miss Reign/Jane the Virgin/Flash/Arrow/Hart of Dixie.

    Season 1 Episode 4 - Liv and Let Clive - 04/7/15

    iZombie - Episode Guide - TV.com

Clive discovers a John Doe in the morgue is one of his former criminal contacts from his days working on the vice squad, but he refuses Liv's help to solve the murder. Liv and Ravi investigate on their own, which puts them in a precarious situation. Meanwhile, Major searches for a roommate, and Liv thinks he is considering a cute co-ed.
Each episode is better than the last, their is very nice snappy dialog between all the characters that reminds me very much of how Joss Whedon had his characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer talk. I know that the TV critics have said they felt the show skews to a younger audience, I am not a member of that demographic but I find that I am enjoying the show regardless.

Last night was so good! Lots of juicy tidbits in this epi - the police lieutenant is a zombie, there's a new love interest with a new zombie - who seems like one of the good guys, and Clive finally picked up on all the missing homeless people. And the final scene....I was so expecting it to be Major when they unzipped the body bag! And Bearcata, I'm with you - I'm definitely out of the CW demographic, but I'm enjoying this one. I think last night's episode did a good job of really expanding on the overall arc of the storyline - and the "murder of the week" was a good one too

But you know it wasn't cause they show Liv riding her bicycle after that scene?

    Season 1 Episode 5 - Flight of the Living Dead - 04/14/15

iZombie - Season 1, Episode 5: Flight of the Living Dead - TV.com

Liv reluctantly eats the brains of her murdered sorority sister to gain insight into her death. The case takes Liv and Clive into the victim's world of extreme sporting where they meet a professional snowboarder who is hiding a secret. Meanwhile, Liv connects with another murder suspect; and Major voices his concern to Clive over a young boy's disappearance.
First time I have heard them do the "Liv Moore" in joke. I didn't even know the heroine's last name so it was new to me. Cute.

How come the police lieutenant and the musician are normal coloring? The police guy is pretty salt and pepper and that is hard to do, I would think. Where is everyone getting their brains? How long can you go with out before going mental?

Liked how they mentioned that the drink company the extreme sports guys representing seemed to have a drink or supplement that 1 in 1000 folks turned on their rage. I wonder if that is the ingredient in that new drug (Utopium) that turns folks into Zombies? Kinda like the Umbrella Corporation in all the Resident Evil movies. Does this mean Seattle is actually Raccoon City?

    Season 1 Episode 6 - Virtual Reality Bites - 04/21/15

    iZombie - Episode Guide - TV.com

A computer hacker's murder is investigated. Liv inherits intense agoraphobia and mad skills at computer gaming when she consumes his brains. Meanwhile, Blaine becomes acquainted with someone close to Liv.
Nice to know that some brains taste terrible especially if they are more than 10 days old. To be honest I don't blame the girls brother for killing that hacker after what he did to her. Yes, she shouldn't have uploaded his rant to her on YouTube but his identity was private. No one knew who he really was. But to give her a criminal record, put her on the sex offenders list, photoshopping pornographic photos of her and putting them online was way over the line.

Luv'ed the opening scene with Major on the gurney and you were not quite sure if he was dead or alive.

    Season 1 Episode 7 - Maternity Liv - 04/28/15

    iZombie - Episode Guide - TV.com
A pregnant woman is murdered but her baby survives. After Liv consumes the victim's brain, a fierce maternal instinct kicks in. Meanwhile, Major makes a shocking discovery.
I liked this episode but thought that the police captain was not brave so much as covering his tracks. I think that maybe the dog catcher and her husband may have been kidnapping kids to supply brains for Zombies. It sounded as if they had found a lot of bodies on the couples property. I may have to rewatch though. While I thought it was short sighted of Major to trick Clive like he did having the police put him in a holding cell full of bikers who could beat him up and do other things to him speaks way too much of police brutality and in this day and age of the riots in Ferguson and now Baltimore that scene was simply uncomfortable to watch.

    Season 1 Episode 8 - Dead Air - 05/05/15

    iZombie - Season 1, Episode 8: Dead Air - TV.com

The newest victim is a morning radio talk show host, and Liv picks up her annoying tendencies when she eats the woman's brain to solve the murder. Meanwhile, Major is more determined than ever to find out what Julien is hiding, and Ravi decides to ask Peyton out on a date.
Still liking this show very much, it is moving along quite nicely both in character development of Liv, Ravi, Major and Payton. I like the reveal and wonder exactly what Blaine's main goal will be.
