Did anyone catch this after Bates Motel? I have it on my DVR to watch, but initial reports was that it was Fantastic!

We did watch The Returned, and enjoyed it - although I kept flashing back to ABC's Resurrection, which was a bit disconcerting.
I'm sure that I'll get over that in time - we plan to keep watching.

I loved the French version. From the previews I saw it seems that they really stayed close to the characters. Even the way they look.

I watched the first 2 episodes on demand, and I liked it. I see the French version is on Netflix, so I think I will watch that also.

Resurrection didn't hold my interest, so I gave up on that. I set my DVR to record this series, so time will tell of I stick with this.

I saw a little bit of it - but since I watched the French version - I can't get behind it. They made a lot of the characters really good looking and took away the slow and creepy vibe.

At least they kept the smoking!

They weren't Hollywood pretty. I only got part way through the French version before it creeped me out too much.

Why is A&E tackling this when there is a network "Americanized" version?

    You are talking about Resurrection?
