Got it DVR'd and will watch it Friday with the hubby. Can't wait to see the back story and I'm really hoping that "Walt" and "Jesse" make appearances

    Eager for tonight's episode.

They've announced that, if it happens, it won't be in this first season.

Great Episode 2! We are really loving this show! Here is an interesting article for those of you who are Breaking Bad fans, and for those like me who weren't and wouldn't otherwise get some inside jokes or who on this show were also on BB.

'Better Call Saul' Season 1 Spoilers: 7 'Breaking Bad' Easter Eggs From The First 2 Episodes

I am guessing that Chuck is Jimmy's older brother, but they haven't really named the connection unless I missed it.

Tuko (sp?) Yeah, it's nice to see these characters in these different roles.

OK. I'm a bit daft at times... I have a couple of questions.

    1)
So, Saul actually DID become a Cinnabun manager in a mall (LOL) after going into hiding.. did he get sick of the snow/menial existence and decide to go back to NM to go back to attorney-ing? I assumed that's what happened, since we last saw him watching his old Better Call Saul! commercials.

    2)
What is wrong with Chuck? I'm not understanding the whole, grounding, electric devices, etc problem. Also, I'm ASSUMING it's something that happened while he was at work (the big attorney's office he cofounded)..that's why Jimmy is holding out for the millions of dollars payout.

"Better Call Saul" is a prequel - it takes place before all the events in "Breaking Bad". No, Saul never returns to New Mexico, and his lawyer days were over after he was given a new identity and taken to Nebraska.

As far as Saul watching his old commercials, he's just reminiscing and it's a way to set the stage for "Better Call Saul".

Re: Better Call Saul on AMC

It's my understanding that Chuck and Jimmy are brothers. I'm thinking Chuck's problems are more mental than physical.

I think everyone has very high expectations for this show, and for that reason I thought it was going to suck. Based on the first two episodes, I was wrong! Vince Gilligan does it again!
