    Season 4 Episode 1 "And the Dark Secret" - December 13, 2017

    [url]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Librarians_episode s#Season_4_(2017)[url]

When one of the four cornerstone of the Library of Alexandria turns up, the Librarians must find the others before the Library is destroyed forever. Jenkins reveals that Nicole Noone, Flynn's original guardian, has been locked up in a secret part of the library, and she hid the cornerstones.
Always nice to see The Librarians again but at times it seems they are creating this complicated mythology of the Library that may restrict plot lines, I wish they were not so dependent on that.

TNT will be airing double episodes the first 3 weeks, or December 13, 20, and 27.

Season 4 Episode 2 "And the Steal of Fortune" - December 13, 2017

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...eason_4_(2017)

Gamblers at Fortune Downs casino and racetrack end up having horrible luck, so the Librarians investigate the goings-on. They find that Fortuna, Roman goddess of Fortune has returned and stealing everyone's luck, and the only way to defeat her is to win in the casino despite the curse.
Interesting theme of not being able to boast to your friends and family that you are a Librarian and a hero and that you regularly save the world and can you have friends and family outside of the library.

    Season 4 Episode 3 "And the Christmas Thief" - December 20, 2017

Listings - LIBRARIANS, THE on TNT | TheFutonCritic.com

When Santa takes Flynn, Baird and Jenkins on his first vacation in centuries, he leaves his beloved sleigh in the care of the Librarians. But when Ezekiel's career criminal mother steals the magic door, they must use the sleigh to save her, as well as Christmas itself, from Santa's Grinch of a brother, the Patron Saint of Thieves
Little bit confusing in what order the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th episodes were to be aired.

I am so glad that TNT has decided to air 2 episodes a week for 3 weeks in a row especially in time right after a lot of series mid season finales and that lull period before the end of the year holidays. There are 12 episodes in season 4. There does not seem to be a Big Bad this season so far, the only long arching plot I see is that of Baird and Flynn being tethered to the Library. So far the episodes have been light hearted and a lot of fun. It was good to see a bit of the background of Ezekiel Jones as he has been the most neglected character on this series. Who doesn't want to fly in Santa's sleigh.

    Season 4 Episode 4 "And the Silver Screen" - December 20, 2017

When Flynn and Baird are sucked into Baird's favorite classic Film Noir movie, the Librarians are drawn into the world of movie magic - literally - where they'll need to perfect their lassoing skills, sharpshooting, and snappy dialogue if they're going to make it out alive.
Baird and Flynn on a date, what is there not to luv about this episode, especially when Jake, Cassandra, and Ezekiel while attempting to rescue Baird and Flynn get sucked into a Cowboy film and then a SyFy cult film it is seemly too funny.

I have enjoyed the first four episodes. The sucking into cult films was very funny. Meeting Ezekial's mother not so much a treat as trick, but it was interesting to see the flip side of Christmas joy.

    Season 4 Episode 5 - "and the Bleeding Crown" - Wednesday, Dec. 27 - 8:00p.m. ET/PT

Listings - LIBRARIANS, THE on TNT | TheFutonCritic.com

A Librarian from the past teams up with the Librarians of the present to take down an ancient and powerful enemy let loose in the modern day. When superfan Flynn is met with the prospect of teaming with his Librarian hero Darrington Dare, he could not be more excited, until Darrington leaves the Librarians with this dire warning: There can be only one Librarian - ignore at your own peril
Nice to see that all Head Librarians are a bit nuts, but I didn't like the idea of Dare trying to start a potential Civil War among the Librarians.

Season 4 Episode 6 - "And the Grave of Time" - Air Date: Wednesday, December 27, 2017

Listings - LIBRARIANS, THE on TNT | TheFutonCritic.com

When Baird goes after Nicole Noone in an attempt to repair her rift with the Library, she ends up joining Nicole in a mission to retrieve a dangerous artifact before it falls into the hands of Russian grave robbers. But can she convince Nicole to forgive the Library and return home with her? Or, will Nicole open Baird's eyes to the dangers of a Guardian dedicating herself, heart and soul, to the Library?
I liked this episode, it was fun to see it Guardian centric and that the two ladies were so similar. I wonder if Jenkins and Flynn will no longer be in the show. I feel bad for Eve for Flynn to just leave her they way he did that was not very nice, or mature. Eve deserves better.

Trying to be normal and pull pranks at camp...she really was off her head.

So, will the binding ceremony ever take place or is the library to be left on its own - willy nilly?
