    Twin Peaks

Showtime is bringing Twin Peaks back with David Lynch and Mark Frost, the original creators, and Kyle McLaughlin as FBI agent Dale Cooper!!! This makes me giddy happy! 'Twin Peaks' Is Coming To Showtime In 2016

Per Showtime, "'Twin Peaks' will continue the lore of the original series, providing long-awaited answers for the series' passionate fan base."
And Showtime will rerun the original series before the new 9 episodes!

    And that's a good idea?

I hope some channel brings back the original before this airs. It's one of those shows that was over my head when it aired but I'd love to experience now. Also a FANTASTIC soundtrack!

When I think back on it season 1 of Twin Peaks really highlights what a lot of shows now have. Guess it was ahead of it's time.

Showtime will repeat the two 1990 seasons before the new episodes. I know Twin Peaks is a acquired taste, with David Lynch you either hate him, or you sit there wondering what in the heck is going on, but can't stop watching. And it does have a certain 'cult' status. It often holds a place on various "Best Series of all time" lists. Different folks, you know.

I'd also love to see a reprise of Picket Fences and Pushing Daisies, but I guess it's never the same as the original.

I loved it at the time. I'm just not sure I'd want to try to pick it up again now. I was also a fan of Picket Fences and Pushing Daisies, but they moved on, and so have I.

Yeah, but I wouldn't mind reruns of ...Fences or ...Daisies on a cable station. Heck I saw Lawrence Welk reruns playing on one station!
