Well, there are at least three I will check out.

The Extant miniseries with Halle Berry looks interesting.

The Quest - a reality TV show with executive producers from The Amazing Race and The Lord of the Rings. The showed a preview during the Once Upon A Time season finale, looked like fun.

    Crossbones - the pirate series.

The CW will run the new season of The Beauty and The Beast this summer starting June 2 at 9pm.

TNT has a miniseries call The Last Ship executive produced by Michael Bay that looks interesting.

I am liking the idea of one off mini series for the summer. Great idea TV execs.

First off, what are those numbers in parentheses after the show titles?
There are very few I even want to give a chance to. I'm disappointed that Who Done It? isn't back as a Summer show. It really turned out to be a good show last year.

Seeing that I don't get Pay TV, I wonder how many of those shows I'll even be able to get.

    .

    Number of episodes.

Surprisingly, your public library. They have a great collections of DVDs and you can get entire series, usually a year or so later but the time frame can vary.

I'm so bummed out there's going to be another singing competition on. I saw the preview for it last night. Can we just stop with the singing game shows now?

There are several on your list I watch to check out, and some I'm already watching.

Cosmos: A Space Time Odyssey has been fascinating. The narrator, Neil deGrasse Tyosn, is a director of the Hayden Planetarium in NYC, which was in walking distance for me as I was growing up. It was great then and it has expanded since. When I was a kid, there was no charge for any show there.

Tyson is fantastic to listen to; he has a great voice and he makes things very understandable. If you love learning about space and time, I heartily recommend this show!!!

Anyone watch Rosemary's Baby last night? I guess it comes under this thread. I'd like to discuss if you did. It's pretty wild!

From what I heard, it's a mini series and will conclude by the end of May. I'll have to confirm that.

Let me know what you think. I think a lot of people were shocked, hated it and won't watch it again, but I kind of liked it. I think some people might describe it as freaky. lol

It is different from the movie and that's okay with me. It's set in Paris, instead of NY. And that's okay too. It held my interest, though it has a few problems here and there with continuity, but I liked it enough to watch the rest of the series.

I do question if the theme of the movie translates into today's culture. It might work out better for these people if they put out an ad for a surrogate. lol

Yes it appears to be a series!

Was it good to those who watched?

Rosemary's Baby miniseries info, it is based on the novel not the movie.
