I'm so looking forward to this. Summer TV has pretty much disappeared for me. It's so nice to have a series of new shows that I'm excited about.
I just wish they would have brought back Who Done It? from last Summer. That was fun.

I'm planning to take a look at The Last Ship on TNT tonight. Cast includes Adam Baldwin, Eric Dane, and John Pyper Ferguson, which is enough for my to want to sample.

I'm enjoying Crossbones. John Malkovich is excellent as Blackbeard. He plays likable crazy evil with a touch of normal so well. The rest of the cast is great too.

Read a review ... supposed to really pick up by episode 3 so stick with it for at least that long.

Can't wait for July and Extant on CBS with Halle Barry and The Strain on FX.

Thanks, Bearcata. I plan to stick with it for at least a few episodes based on cast alone, hopefully a lot longer. I've been watching The Listener, which isn't bad. Still very much enjoying Murder in the First as well.

Best Title for a Summer Show goes to:

Fat and Furious: Rolling Thunder on Discovery, Monday nights at 10pm.

Seriously, the cast of Fat and Furious needs to be on Extreme Weight Loss.

Wipe Out started last night. I normally don't watch this show but I am watching American Ninja Warrior this summer so decided to give this show a shot.

I watched both The Last Ship and Falling Skies yesterday. Kind of a depressing/apocalyptic way to end the weekend

I thought The Last Ship seemed pretty good. It has potential if they don't go too melodramatic. The action was well done.

Falling Skies - one heck of an opener. Things are pretty much in the crapper for all of them (whether they know it or not)
    Women are Angels.
And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...usually on a broomstick.

I found myself quite enjoying Last Ship. It's got a good cast and potential for great stories if it doesn't go the soap opera route. The premise of personnel being isolated on a ship due to some disaster or other has been done before, but it can be a good one. I definitely have hopes for the show.
