    Salem - WGN Sundays 10e/9c

Did anyone catch this one? First episode was last night @ 10 on WGN. I have it on DVR but have yet to watch it. The previews looked pretty good, Im anxious to know how it was...

WGN is the super station out of Chicago, right?

I watched it, and it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Exceptional casting, but I won't be going out of my way to watch the show. Gore & torture...not really my thing.

Agreed. I was hoping for something more suspenseful. I'll probably watch the next couple episodes to see if it gets any better.

I found it really bizarre. I think I would have preferred if they had shown what happened in Salem with more historical accuracy. It is my understanding that there was no magic or witchcraft involved, just some Puritan paranoia (sp?) that went viral

It's official. I've been left in a quandary. WTH?

That is it, but you know they have to tart it up for TV. I don't mind when they do that so much, but if they go too over the top, no.

I watched it. It was odd. I kind of liked it. I would have preferred more witches and less "monsters", but I think I'll stick with it.
