Sleepy Hollow is back Monday January 13 and then January 20 is the 2 hour season finale and its the Apocalypse. Reminds me of all the times Buffy (Vampire Slayer) saved the world.

    Arrow starts this week also.

Anyone watching Cartoon Networks Dragons Defenders of Berk, it is back starting January 8th but they moved it to Wednesday night at 8pm. You can catchup via On Demand if you have it and probably on line.

Oh, they are making a new How To Train Your Dragon movie.

Originals and Supernatural are also back with new episodes Tuesday nights.

I just watched my tape of Killer Women. Apparently no one else here saw it, either that or they hated it.
It wasn't exactly groundbreaking innovation in TV, but I liked it. It had every possible cliché in the books, but it was fun & entertaining. I liked the lead gal & her boss.
The story was predictable, but I enjoyed watching it play out. If it doesn't stick around, I won't really miss it, but right now it's nice to have another show I enjoy.
I'll be watching the next one.

Just watched Syfy networks Bitten .. not bad ... I have read the books ... and must admit the adaption is not bad at all. I think Bitten worked better in one episode than 3 episodes of Helix.

My Grooveshark page is advertising a show today called "Hit Record on TV". The tag line says "A new kind of variety show with Joseph Gordon-Levitt". It is on a channel called Pivot that I have never heard of, but according to the Charter online channel lineup I think I should get it. I'm not sure if I will like this show, but I am intrigued enough to check it out...

    Re: Winter/Spring TV Shows 2014

Anyone watching Klondike on Discovery? I'm slogging through the first episode and I'm pretty sure that's going to be it for me. Just B-A-D. Even the lovely and talented Richard Madden can't save it for me. The dialogue is SO awful and not true to the period. I'm not sure when "pissed off" came into popular use, but I'm pretty sure it was not the late 19th century - from what I've read, it was around 1943-ish. The writers got colloquialisms wrong and that's one of the things that pulls me right out of a historical drama. It's like women with overly plucked eyebrows or breast implants in a film set 200 years ago. It's just lazy film making.
