Season 2 Episode 3 - The Old Man and the Key -7/20/14

Well they got everyone home to East End just in time for Victor to be kidnapped off the front porch.

Did anyone else think it weird that Killian remembered who Freya was? I do think that Eva aka Owl Woman has him under a spell.

    Dash and Ingrid mmmmm.

Seriously what did the black mailer think would happen after Dash found out who he was and burned his car?

I like the use of the cell phone to snap a picture of the king's mark on the dead guy. Interesting mix of magic and technology.

Schedule: 9 p.m. Sunday (new episode)
    1:02 a.m. Monday

Dance Moms, Raising Asia, and Project Runway are back, so there aren't as many repeats for the next two weeks.

Only one repeat, what's funny I was watching the Strain and I could have sworn they are airing The Lottery on that channel also or was that A&E?

The Lottery comes on right after Witches and it is repeated at 2:03 a.m.

Now I remember I was watching Longmire on A&E last night and they aired the premiere episode of The Lottery right after. Turns out A&E owns Lifetime.

    Season 2 Episode 4 - The Brothers Grimoire - 7/27/14

Lots of stuff going on with some interlinking elements ... I like that the writers are doing that.

Frederick ... good guy? bad guy? or a bit of both ... seriously considering the timeline Joanna found out a soon as was possible and I don't like it that she dumped the quilt of Victor's death onto Frederick. Interesting sides of the female/male twin relationship. Freya intersected with all the characters tonight except for Dash. I like how Ingrid is becoming this important person to so many people. Again nice touch interlinking Dash and Killian with Ingrid, the Beaucamps and the Gardiners, witches and warlocks. Wendy's new relationship might prove interesting but it also provided comic relief.

Note to self be careful using the East End Library, there are murderous warlocks, venomous snakes and blue skinned tentacled men lurking in the stacks.

I think Frederick is good at being bad, lol. I do think his intent towards his family is good but he's not ready to give up his dark side either. I still don't know what he did to Wendy's earring.

Owl girl can leave anytime now.

I was sad to see the dad die. I've always liked that actor and was hoping he'd stick around.

I'm getting the charter's all muddled up this season.
Who or what is Mandragora, the blue tentacled man that Ingrid is meeting, and what is his connection to Frederick?

No new episodes were aired on August 3, 2014. Episode 5 Boogie Nights will air August 10, 2014.

From the previews we are going to see a lot more of the Mandragora episode 5 and 6.
