Anyone see the premiere last night? I caught part of it, and I like what I saw so far.
I love Joss Whedon's other work (Buffy, Angel. Firefly, Dollhouse, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog) -- I hope he doesn't get so busy with the Avengers franchise that he wanders away from for this show. Things usually work best when he's doing more of the writing.

What is an "MFWalkoff?"
I saw it and think it shows promise. I believe the pilot episode did well in the ratings.
Joss Whedon is one of my favorites, too. I agree with your assessment of things being better when he remains closely involved.
BTW - His Much Ado About Nothing is scheduled for DVD release on October 8.

I worship in his general direction. I enjoyed the show and I'm thrilled that he's working, but I would prefer that it be something original from the Whedonverse rather than Marvel. Still, I'll take what I can get.

Well, it is post "Hero" apocalypse and the start of the new world. Already we have murky good and evil factions and some good ole' James Bond thrown in. The nerds talk too fast and the anti-social agent may see the light too fast.
Colby (I can't remember her character name) let it slip that Tahiti may have been a construct until they could heal him. I'm just glad he had a good time.
I really like that the bad-**s pilot is named Melinda May. You don't hear that as a character name very often.
It's on my watch list and I hope the characters grow and the plots develop.

Everyone in my house enjoyed it. I like how they carried over some of the characters from The Avengers. There wasn't anything about it that we didn't like, so here's hoping it sticks around for awhile.
