Same her Mesa. It went by so fast last night, it left us wanting more!

Same here for me ... and "wanting more" is perhaps the highest & most meaningful compliment.

This show is very intense and the guessing about whom is a good guy/bad guy stuff makes it even more intense

Yeah, I've thought that since watching the previews. It's definitely a Silence of the Lambs ripoff.

I like the show ok but I wish they had been more original with their characters and not made it such a blatant copycat.

They say they haven't. I don't care, I love Spader and the show

    Re: The Blacklist

The EP of Blacklist addressed the issue of people associating Blacklist and Silence of the Lambs. He effectively points out the differences between the characters of Red and Hannibal and even says that the "prison" interviews between Elizabeth and Red will end sooner rather than later. It's my belief that Red will be out and about more and more with each episode.

It's my favorite new show of the season so far.

When we were watching it, during the meeting scene shot from the side, I even said out loud: "Hello Clarice"....

    Re: The Blacklist

i wouldn't call it a rip-off of Silence of the Lambs - but it def has undercurrents of it - how can one not compare the relationship the duo has to Hannibal and Starling?

    Re: The Blacklist

I get more of an undercurrent of caring from Red for Lizzie than I did from Hannibal for Clarice. In the latter duo, he was more taunting, or at least that's the way I remember it.

the difference of course is Red is going to Liz, whereas Clarice went to Hannibal for help.
