Good show last night! So many twists and turns. I mean who would have guessed that Duncan's father in-law was Ellen's lawyer way back in the day?

Yes, there was a lot of plot development last night with all the characters. The President cheating with his wife's sister, the situation with the guy from Duncan's team, in jail. That part confused me a bit. I didn't catch who he was talking to on the pay phone when he said everything was all taken care of. Was it Duncan? Maybe I turned my head and missed it.

This show is all over the place. And the part where it showed that the doctor was actually represented by the attorney who is the father in law of Dylan and that she had killed a man years ago........omg....rather bizarre. I think they have jumped the shark...but, I'm hanging in there. I like Dylan.

I did laugh when doctor and her husband are discussing getting someone to kill Dylan's character and husband says, "Well excuse me that I don't have hired killers on my speed dial." lol

This is why I'm officially finished with this show. I'm just over it.

However, I've stuck with The Blacklist. Much better show, imo.

I like both shows ( still) I can see this all coming together, and Dylan is playing his part so well!

    Re: Hostages

The idea that there are so many pieces to the show's overall plot and one can foresee how bits and pieces will eventually fit together is one of the best parts of this show, IMO. Yet at the same time we are left scratching our heads trying to figure out the logistics of the conclusion of everything.

I love Dylan's portrayal of Duncan.

Unfortunately, The Blacklist so far has failed to reel me in regardless of how I've tried to get into it. I'm not giving up on it, but so far it's still a no for me. I plan to keep it on my "TV watching radar" just the same.

While I love James Spader, his character on the Blacklist makes me cringe. I'll stick with Hostages, no matter how over the top it becomes.

    Re: Hostages

It is a bit over the top, no where near how much Homeland has jumped the shark. I still like the show. I love Dylan and oddly if his character does something evil to the family I find myself blaming the family and being on his side. I just wish they would get common sense and realize killing him will solve nothing. I definitely didn't see the father in law being her former lawyer. Maybe if they would tell her why killing the president is so important she might get on board with it. She has it in her, as we have found out, so rather than tell her it doesn't matter, give her the reason.
