    I enjoyed the show too!

I was surprised that the new maid was the bartender's mother, I was thinking she was related to the maid who died. Odd that no one noticed her at the graveside service.

How long before someone notices the note from the maid sticking out of the book in the bookcase?

Not sure about this one. Seems kind of lame.

Good second episode I thought. This one is shaping up really nicely so far! But can I just say Carmen has about the sense God gave a gnat Sam is hot hot hot!!! Why she isn't all over him is beyond me....

And, face it, the show has a stellar cast as the Devious Ones! Hee hee!

The second episode was better then the first. Best lines: "The coffee, do you want vanilla roast or Columbian?"

    Yeah, Carmen don't tease Sam.

Liked how the Susan Lucci character is willing to help Valentina, but I do understand why Valentina's mom did what she did.

Oh, like the little eye stare and smirk when the "maids" do something devious.

I'm not liking this show as much as I'd hoped that I would. I need a few likable characters to really get into a story; only Ana Ortiz' character is somewhat likable.

Bearcata, I found myself wondering if Susan Lucci's character is really being all that helpful or if she's just setting Valentina up for a fall. The character seems much too self-centered to me to want to share her son with another woman. Just guessing, of course; I could be entirely wrong.

    Re: Devious Maids (LIFETIME)

I keep wondering if the maids spend all the money they earn on clothes.....except in the one household where the mom and daughter are the maids, and wear uniforms. Most of them wear clothes that don't seem to fit cleaning houses. When I get into one of those manic cleaning times, I wear grubby clothes due to the fact that I'll probably get dirty.
But guess I need to remember it's like a soap and we need the women to be well dressed.

The mom of the waiter accused of the murder (Anna Ortiz) Marisol, I would bet my right arm, that she is quite wealthy and has maids, etc, working for her. Nice twist.
