I suspect Branch's ally had something to do with the cut tire.

They've certainly led us to believe it was someone interested in a Branch victory. First we have a POV of someone watching Cady bringing people to the polling place. Then Cady's tire blows out. Seems obvious.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Well, Branch more or less now knows it was his ally the casino owner had Cady's tire stabbed. What was chilling was that Jacob basically told him to forget it. I wonder if Branch will tell Walt or Cady what happened?

Yeah - that was a really interesting scene between Branch and Jacob. I'm not sure what Branch will do. I think Jacob picked the wrong person to mess with if he was trying to help Branch though.

I liked a lot of the episode. The scenes with Walt and Cady in the hospital. Branch asking Henry for advice. Branch and Walt facing off in the station. Now that the whole election thing is over, we can all move on.

For next week, I'm figuring it's Ferg who gets it. I can't really imagine the show without any of the others.

And finally did any other Supernatural fans get excited to see Jim Beaver in the opening credits? When I saw him I yelled "BOBBY!!!!" I always love seeing him pop up in guest roles.

Hubby and I both agree with you . . . especially after he wasn't in the most recent episode.

I have only occasionally watched Supernatural so I have no idea who that is, but . . . . I spotted CSI:NY's "Adam Ross" (A J Buckley) right away as the poacher who may or may not have set the trap Henry fell in to.

I loved/loved/loved the story Henry told to Branch about how he and Walt first met at the drinking fountain when they were in elementary school. I have no problem imagining that they were both "scrappy" as kids or that they've been friends ever since.

Great episode. I loved Cady pretending not to know Branch when he came in to visit her in the hospital.

    I hope it's not Ferg.

I did the same when I saw "Bobby".

Ferg -- way to go a watch with GPS.

Luv'ed the last scene with Walt in the motel reciting the Illiad.

They aired a bit of the premiere and the narrative of the Denver detective and I found it rather hypocritical of him saying he went after Walt because he couldn't stand guys to take the law into their own hands. Well what is he doing? Does anyone really care? A drug addict mugged and killed a women who just received a chemo treatment. The addict in turn was killed. Isn't justice served?

    That was great!

Lots of interesting little things in this episode. I did not get the whole thing about Walt's girlfriend going nutso and her comment about Walt having a thing for Vic. I don't think he has a thing for Vic at all. Is the show trying to insinuate he does?

Another thing to make me love Ferg - he drives a classic Trans Am. Way to make a statement with the flaming chicken!

I also quite enjoyed hearing Peter Weller recite poetry. His poem at the beginning made me want to hear him recite one of my favorite pieces - Pioneers,O Pioneers by Whitman. His voice has just the right timbre for pieces of a certain tone.

This is my take on Walt's girlfriend. She over reacted. That's for sure. She should have at least listened to the explanation. If she then felt compelled to disbelieve, so be it.

I do understand her reasoning though. She has been dating Walt for awhile. They have sex and he calls her his girlfriend. He takes her out as his girlfriend, but he has not given her his heart. She senses that something is holding him back. In the back of her mind, she doesn't understand why this guy is not bonding more with her, because she's very attractive, personable, and hot in bed. What's not to love, right? But, he doesn't give his heart. Is it because of his dead wife or is he pining for another.......Vic.

Recall the negative vibe Vic gave off when the girlfriend brought the gift to the office and left it for Walt? Vic has some resentment, because she hid the gift and didn't give it to Walt from some time. If that happened to me, I would take it as interference from the other woman.

So, I can see the girlfriend's reasoning and suspicion. Walt may not have actual romantic feelings for Vic, but they do share a bond. Plus, he never seems to be very into his girlfriend. It's as if she is the one pushing the relationship along. He doesn't seem to be all that into her. So, it's good to get out before she gets any deeper. Big mistake by Walt though. I think his girlfriend would make a great partner. His loss.

I forgot to add that if you're a fan of Lou Diamond Phillips, catch him guesting on The Soup last night. He was so hot! Check it out! He appears a couple of times and at the end. Best guest ever on that show.
