    Re: Mistresses

    Soooooo......Toni = trouble. (Surprise!)

I get creepy vibes from the guy April's sleeping with. Something about him is "off".

Upon closer inspection, I don't think Dom's new associate is Harry's former bartender like I thought she was. She's a totally different actress.
    Clarification:
Last week, the woman who popped up, said “Hi, babe” and kissed Harry (in front of Savi) is the same woman who worked at Harry’s restaurant.

Completely different woman than Toni – the one who is an attorney at Dom’s office.

The actresses kind of resemble each other.

    Re: Mistresses

I missed the first fifteen minutes of last night's show. What was all that stuff about the party with all the half naked men running around serving drinks at April's store?

That Toni is sure up to no good. Let the countdown begin as to how long it takes before she and Dom end up having office desk sex...

Can someone please light a stick of dynamite under Karen so she picks up her energy a little bit? She's so expressionless and emotionless at times that she's more like a zombie walking around. I get sleepy just looking at her sometimes.

Harry sure isn't forgiving Savvy anytime soon by the looks of things.

And the dude showing up at Savvy's door at the end...was he on earlier in the part of the show that missed or something? By the looks of him I wasn't sure what he was going to do when he showed up at her door. Not sure what to make of next week's preview...will Savvy end up cheating again?? Say it isn't so...but it certainly looked that way from the previews.

    Re: Mistresses

OK, I'll do the best I can with your questions, but I was half asleep last night. I'm going to be looking for the online episode.

About the party and the half-naked men: April was in charge of throwing a fund-raiser party for her daughter's school, and the only thing she had put on social media was the date and "Party". Nobody showed any interest in coming, and her heart wasn't really in it, either. Her gay guy buddy decided to take over the planning and, voila, it was a bumping party with young, handsome half-naked men serving drinks, etc. Good turnout!

Harry does have his issues, doesn't he? I actually felt kind of sorry for him when he started blasting her for always choosing Dom over him. He was right, though. I guess he just needed to get it out. But, Harry, when it's over....it's over.

The guy who showed up at the end of the show had, indeed, been there earlier when the house was being shown during an open house. He was late (it was over), introduced himself to Savvy, and the realtor told him to call for a private showing. When he showed up at the end of the show and reminded Savvy who he was, it made for a nice little "Hmmmm...." When he told Savvy that he needed to talk to her I, initially, thought that it was a romantic thing; then I got to thinking that maybe he was a long-lost brother. I'm probably wrong, since I never get these things right with this show!

    Re: Mistresses

Yes, I had the feeling that the guy who showed up after the open house and at the end is a long-lost somebody ... maybe a half-brother. I forget now the story of Savi's mother, but wasn't there something about her being gone for a while? maybe she was gone having a baby no one knew about.

I also find Karen so boring that she puts me to sleep, and I did miss some of the show because of that. The only scene I saw of her that was mildly interesting was when she called her former business partner to ask him out, and he rejected her. That was after the bad date she had. Now what? She's going to become an escort?? She's way too naïve and makes way too many poor choices for herself to be a psychiatrist... although I know that many people who go into that field do so because they really want to work out their own issues. However, she is naive to the point of stupid, especially when it comes to relationships ... and don't most people go to therapists for relationship issues? How can she possibly help them when she's so clueless?

I'm not finding the Savi-Dom-Toni triangle as much fun as I thought. Dom should just tell Toni he's in a committed relationship and her come-ons are inappropriate, and if I were Savi, I'd be suspicious why he hasn't done so. Plus surely there must be some other way to divide up the office space to take the stress off Savi. Oh well, I guess if they did the sensible thing, there would be no story material. BTW, I was married to an attorney, and there were no female associates in the office who would dress like Toni does, nor would they be allowed to look so unprofessional in the workplace. Again, no need for reality on a show like this. LOL

This show has lost some of its steam for me. Alissa Milano's hair look horrible. Someone needs to introduce her to conditioner. I agree that Karen is so bland! Second season and I already feel like I am watching just because nothing else is on. It's too bad as I really enjoyed the first season.

I'm with you Fanny. I got to the point 1/2 way though last week that I clicked off & I haven't been back. Yes I agree with you about Karen, drying paint is more animated. Her monotone voice is fingernails on the chalkboard to my ears.

I do not find Karen boring at all. She's working with the material they are giving her and I think she's one of the better actresses who knows how to play it understated. You can't have every one of them playing it over the top. I have always liked Alyssa Milano back since her child actress days, but I think this is not her best work by far. She's the one who is boring me to tears.

My first impression of Zach when he returned to Savi's house and said he needed to talk to her was that he might be a former person in Toni's life and has information to share about her. Could be totally wrong, but there's definitely something more going on than meets the eye.

ITA. In fact, I don't know of any professional office that would allow someone to dress like Toni. (ta-tas popping out) Certainly not a law firm.
