Savvy, other than the responsible aspect, is the total repeat of her mother, isn't she? I didn't realize that there was supposed to be such an age difference between Savvy and Joss. Their mother just wasn't born to be a mother, and didn't seem to really be that concerned about her lack of responsibility. Joss has her mother's free spirit attitude.

I find Joss selfish, but last night I felt a little sad for her.

Pretty much what I said upthread. Now we see why Joss is the way she is. Never had a real mother. Unless you count Savvy "raising" her.

I didn't see that bee( sorry) I raised my brothers and sister, mainly the younger one. Then came the old familiarity breeds contempt. It killed our relationship.I saw us, in them last night

Nice to see Karen finally come alive a little bit, when April was telling her about Paul, etc. ("Are you out of your freaking mind?!") I'm thinking Sam's mother killed off her husband and is going to try and pin it on Karen. Karen's about to be in a heap of all kinds of trouble! I didn't really care for the mom stuff. It showed another side to Joss, which was really sad. And I hate that we have to wait three weeks for another episode. Ugh.

I enjoyed seeing their mom. It gave good insight into why Savi and Joss are the way they are. The Savi character has been one of my least favorite from the beginning. I never understood her behavior and why she thought she could control everyone and everything. I said earlier that I hope the baby is Harry's because if it should be Dom's, that would just be too much of an overdone story line. Seeing Savi and Harry working to get back their marriage would be much more interesting to me.

I'm eager to see how Karen handles what she has to face. I've always loved Yungjin Kim's work. She was a major star in Korea before she was cast in Lost where she became a big fan favorite. Sun and Jin were among the most loved Lost characters.

What I really don't understand is why April is putting up with Paul's demands. The man faked his own death for three years. Could she not at least have a restraining order put on him and why has successful lawyer Savi not suggested that?

Oh no harm done...didn't mean that as a knock on you. Just reiterating my point from my earlier post.

I can only imagine that type of upbringing could be tricky, and cause animosity between siblings.

    Re: Mistresses

Sam's mother definitely had a plan and knew about Karen before the sunglasses were found. She was the one that talked Karen into writing the notes that way and I believe even gave her the dates she should use. Now claiming it's not possible because they were away. Yeah her plan was in action long long before her husband died or was killed. Karen is in deep doo doo with this one. Wish she had of discussed her side of things with her partner or someone that could help her now.
