    Summer Shows 2013

I have my summer shows all lined up. Besides catching up on the Walking Dead, Spartacus and Game of Thrones I look forward to MTV's season 3 of Teen Wolf, NBC's Get Out Alive, the CW's The Hunt. Amazingly the SyFy network has some possibilities and anything is better than Defiance. Continuum is back on Friday nite and Sinbad and Primeval are on Saturday and of course TNT's Falling Skies round out my Sunday nite.

USA's Necessary Roughness looks interesting with John Stamos being added to the cast and I can't forget The Rock and his TNT series The Hero.

My summer lineup includes USA's Burn Notice, Royal Pains, and Suits, and the new Graceland. TNT's Rizzoli & Isles, Perception, Major Crimes, possibly Franklin and Bash. Definitely Warehouse 13 for me on SyFy and I want to take a look at Nuclear Family. Ray Wise is enough to tempt me to try it. Definitely going for ABC's Mistresses with Yunjin Kim, and the subject matter doesn't bother me. I'm not quite sure yet what else, but I'll keep looking.

Remember when summer was nothing but a wasteland of repeats and the new fall season of TV was something to really get excited about? This summer, I'm looking forward to The Glades, Rizzoli and Isles, Perception and Mistresses. Does Devious Maids start this summer too? And of course my beloved "Big Brother." Even though that one doesn't belong in the non-reality thread, I can't think of summer TV without it

While I am not a big Stephen King fan I do think it is a good idea for the networks to try some one shot miniseries like "Under the Dome" to run for the summer season.

USA does a wonderful job with Burn Notice, Royal Pains etc... they have obviously have figured out what folks want to watch and when to air it.

You can watch Nuclear Family right now at SYFY online. It is a web series with 20 episodes, all of which are available for viewing.
