    I DVRed it and watched the pilot. I didn't like it but it's a genre I rarely do like, so other people may enjoy it.

    I saw the pilot and was interested, but I missed last night's ep. I'll seek it out this week. Vera Formiga looks like she's going to be really good as Norman's mom.

    Two episodes aired so far. A&E has the first episode scheduled to rerun on Saturday. Im waiting to watch my DVRed 2nd episode until after I can snatch the first. Weird, but A&E didnt rerun the first episode in the slot before.... 9:00 pm had Storage Wars up until the 10:00 showing of episode 2 of Bates.

    The friends I know that watch it seem to really like it.. .Im actually really looking forward to watching this.

    I'm watching it but am still on the fence. I will tell you all... DON'T WATCH THE PILOT WITH YOUR CHILDREN IN THE ROOM.

    Vera Formiga is outstanding as the mother.

    I couldn't figure out who the actor was playing the cop she had coffee with but then it came to me. He was the blonde pilot on PanAm.

    My biggest question is... Why, if this is supposed to be a prequel to Psycho, is it taking place in the present? I don't get it???

    I think they are trying to show Norman as a teenager and what leads up to his going Psycho. I watched the premiere but it did not draw me in.

    DH and I are LOVING IT.

    I think Vera playing Norma is awesome. She is just doing a fab job.

    Did anyone notice the dark haired cop, he was Richard Alpert on LOST.

    I hope we get to see a few seasons of this show. Its great and exciting and scary and creepy all in one.

    I really like the young man playing Norman.
