I too wish he wouldn't have tried the accent. He's done it before and I always dislike it. It wouldn't be a hard plot for heaven's sake. He was raised Colorado but moved to the south when he was 8 years old or something. There you go, southern congressman who doesn't have to do that distracting accent.

Don't get me wrong though, I am still thoroughly enjoying the show. That's just one little thing that bugs me, like a little gnat flying around.

'House of Cards' is Netflix's most-watched program
    by Sandra Gonzalez
Since its debut less than two weeks ago, Netflix’s House of Cards has made quite the splash. In fact, it’s currently the most-watched program.

Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos touted the accomplishment at a media conference, according to All Things D, but declined to elaborate on specific numbers and metrics, saying he is doing so to avoid comparisons to traditional broadcast shows.

Even without numbers, however, the fact that Cards is besting the streaming site’s thousands of current TV offerings is impressive, and a good sign, considering they’ve already committed to a second season of the Kevin Spacey-helmed drama.

This bodes well for future original programming! No word on when season 2 will premiere. I'm ready NOW!

Just watched episode 3. I LOVE this show. Reminiscent of another show I enjoyed, Boss. I read they start production on Season 2 this month. Can't wait!

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

I'm happy to hear that production for the next season is starting this month. I'm guessing that means it might be ready for release this summer or next fall. I'd be surprised, but pleased, if it became available earlier.

Uncle David, I think the remaining episodes will not disappoint you.

I loved the two remaining episodes, and am anxious for the new season. I'm not thrilled with the 'open marriage' device, but with luck they'll be realistic with the affect on the storyline.

I'm not thrilled with that either Uncle David, but I have to admit it's probably realistic of a lot of political marriages and for the type of people these two are. It also seems realistic in that neither of them seems completely comfortable with it to me. To me they both appeared hurt by the others outside relationships, but didn't want to admit to it. That too seems realistic of the open marriages I've been privy too, which have all ended in disaster by the way.

I hope they do show the damage it does to a marriage as the story continues. I image as a politician you would continue to pretend your marriage is hunky dory as long as the spouse will play along, even if you are living completely separate lives. Especially if you have aspirations to higher office as both of them seem to. Divorce isn't the worst thing in the world these days for a politician, but sometimes the details of why are damaging.

Is anyone watching season 2? I'm starting episode 6 now. No spoilers, but that moment in episode 1 = Holy crap.

I'm watching! Episode 3 so far. Yes, that moment of episode 1....

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.
