    Re: The Americans (FX)

Ok well, I was coming to this thread to share some GOOD news. News about an actress on this show which I thought was probably the correct place for posting it. I'll try and restrain myself next time.

While I haven't looked for one, personally, I'm guessing there's a thread out there to debate the politics of what shows were nominated and what shows were overlooked. I was just trying to share good news about this show, nothing more and nothing less.

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

It looks like the next season will be in early January as previously announced.

It was recently announced that both Martha (Phillips new wife and Gaad's secretary) ... and Nina will be cast regulars.

It was previously announced that Stan's wife will be a regular too.

It should be interesting because the "kids" are getting older.

Okay so this show is back and it's STILL awesome! Season 2 was off to a brutal start with lots of dead bodies... Don't want to say much as not to spoil... but checking for what others think... Anyone??

I just watched the first episode of The Americans new season. Oh, my! It picked up right where it left off as far as being cutting edge and in your face with the reality of the story. Wow!

(I originally posted this in another thread because I didn't think there was one for The Americans)

    This season premier was GOOD!
For Elizabeth and Phillip, the danger is so very very real now. Loved Phillip's wig in the scene with the Afghans... whoops! Finally! I was always wondering how it stayed on so well all the time

This show was really enjoyable in S1 and now with such a good S2 premier, it's ranking up there among my favorites - one I really look forward to

And who would have thought this subject and period of time would engage us so much? My husband and I love it. Story, actors, plot, and script are above par!
