Yes, telenovellas are actually more like our mini-series, except most of them continue on for much longer - usually they have anywhere from 12 or so episodes to over 100 episodes - which last about a year. Some are shown daily and others come on once or twice a week. Most other countries have them on all the time. Many years ago as I was flipping through my channels, I accidentally discovered one of the Korean on-going dramas -- and fell in love with it. It had English sub-titles, so it was very easy for me to watch. That's when I discovered there's a whole world of these mini-series type dramas out there, and they are very, very popular. And their stars are wildly popular and famous, just like our major celebrities. If you get foreign channels in your area (like Asian or Mexican channels), you can usually find them.

Yes, sorry, I wasn't clear... I meant that TPTB aren't likely to invest in daytime telenovellas over talk shows if they won't invest in soaps with a guarenteed audience...relative to a talk show, too expensive.

I was able to catch this today. I really like Jeff so I enjoyed the show

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

I have been DVRing and have to admit I just LOVE this show. It's full of positivity and good feelings. Granted, some things presented are not "good" but Jeff finds the positive and/or learning in experiences and brings that to the forefront.

    I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

I hope they give it some time to gather viewers. I would hate to see it cancelled. It is a great show!

I work from home two days a week and turn on the tv in my home-office at 2pm those days to catch Jeff's show. I'm never disappointed and always glad I watched. It's uplifting and downright enjoyable. Of course that means it's doomed, right?

    I hope not!!!

I really enjoyed the show yesterday, with Scott Barnes.

When I remember to watch, I really enjoy this show. I think Jeff Probst has a really nice, relaxed interview style that seems to put his guests at ease.

I remember I had wanted to see that one since I recently read an interview or two with Scott about his time with JLo. I hope I sent my DVR to catch it!
