This cancellation stinks soo bad...like skunk spray... that I cannot even give it words!
I had read that part of this cancellation was the poorer ratings and the fact that most of their sets were destroyed by Sandy. They didn't feel it would be worth the cost of having to replace everything for the $$ that would come in.

Sometimes, it seems like they are writing this show as they go along...right before it airs.

Ah the latter does come into play - a TV series called "Second Chances" with Connie Sellecca, was affected in a similar way. That said the difference was that "SC" actually had very GOOD ratings but as most of the sets were destroyed or severely damaged in a quake they just canceled it.

But in the case of "666 Park Avenue" they just are cursed with the 9 p.m. (CST) time slot on Sunday against "The Mentalist" (which I feel is weakening but still pretty decent).

Ditto. In hind sight, I should have seen that coming, but I didn't.

Even though I watch every episode of this show, the news of it's cancelation bummed me out a little, but I wasn't mad or upset about it. Until the last couple of episodes, especially this last one. It's really getting good now and some questions are being answered, although not the really big ones, and now I'm mad they are canceling it.

I just read they are filming & showing 13 episodes. They are still currently filming, knowing that the show's been cancelled.
They're giving the show a real series ending, although it still leaves you wondering.

Sounds good to me. I like an end of some sort even if my shows are cancelled. I always appreciate when the network & show-makers let them do that.

Yipes! I had to go back to page 6 for this. I was about to give up.
Anyhow. Supposedly they will begin airing (burning off) the unaired episodes on Saturday 6/22.
    I'll be there.

Wow! Now, that's what I call a surprise!!! It sounds almost too good to be true!
