I didn't watch much of the pre-show/red carpet shows, but I thought Chris Harrison did a great job. He was natural and funny and didn't suck up too much....or at least his sucking up was less obsequious than Seacrest always is.

    I'm totally watching by myself, aren't I?

Eric Stonestreet wins for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy. I was sort of hoping the Modern Family guys would split the vote and Max Greenfield would win. I love Schmidt!

Julie Bowen won't get off the nipple cover thing. I'll admit that I got a little teary when they read Kathryn Joosten's name.

Not sure I like the color of Julie Bowen's dress. It's a bit much. She looks good in it but it's really strong.

Weird photo thing they're doing just offstage/onstage with the winners.

Did anyone else's ABC affiliate forget to actually run commercials during this commercial break? I'm sitting here looking at a black screen. Someone's in trouble!

I'm watching - but I am in and out of the house taking care of my garden, so hope to be more attentive soon. I think the comedy presentations were not that funny. It was like they were trying too hard. Hopefully it will get better.

    Re: 2012 Emmy Awards

Yeah, I still have no Emmys. I just called the station and the line is busy. WTH? This is event TV for me and I can't watch! They'd better get this fixed PDQ. I'm pissed!

Yay! It just now came on. Finally.

Love Melissa McCarthy and Mindy Kaling.

Best Actor in a Comedy......(rooting for Don Cheedle or Louis CK)

Is it wrong that every time someone says House of Lies I think House of Pies?

    Jon Cryer wins.
