I loved The Closer. It took me awhile to warm to Major Crimes, but I'm quickly getting there. It's becoming one of my favorites.

Raydor going to see Rusty's mother in prison = amazing. I love Mary McDonnell. It was just the perfect take down of a despicable person. Kudos to Ever Carradine for making me hate her!

I liked The Closer for a few seasons, but I actually got tired of Brenda's schtick. I like Raydor better.

I just love the characters on this show. The writing is clever and funny too.

Ref. the young man's mother in jail. UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH. What's so terrible about it is that they got it down right. There are many parents who treat their kids that way. I really hope they don't let her return to wreak havoc on that young man's life again.

Mary McDonnell is one of my favorite actresses. In the premiere episode of Major Crimes, the drug dealer that was taunting the rest of the unit by shouting Shoot me, Shoot me. Everyone was just staring at him and she grab a shotgun, walked past the officers, shot him, and then turned, handed back the shot gun and walked on, I knew I was going to like her as Sharon Raydor.
The writer's are doing are great job reinforcing Sharon's strong personality. Mary McDonell's delivery of those lines is fantastic. Last week, I enjoyed the discussion she had with her son regarding Rusty's adoption.
I'm looking forward to her part in the take down of Rusty's mom. I know I won't be disappointed.

LOVED that scene where she gives her bio son the facts about her adoption of Rusty. GREAT character and writing.

I loved The Closer because of the great cast. When Raydor first came on scene she was a thorn in Brenda's side and then slowly became a great ally. So by the time Brenda left we already were fans of Sharon and had the same lovable cast. Nice transition.

I loved that too. I could understand his concern for his mother, but it seems like, if he knew his mother at all, he'd know that she's not one to be taken in by a conman.

Sometimes I find myself wishing Sharon would show a little more emotion, but I don't think that would be true to her character. For instance, I REALLY wanted her to lash out an Rusty's mom over her suggestion that Rusty prostitute himself to pay her bail. Sharon's way was better though. The comment about her being the one in the blue jumpsuit was perfect.

At the being of the episode, he told Sharon he was having pains in his arm. He thought it was due to physical exertion. At the end of the episode, he realized he was having a heart attack.

I wonder if he was being truthful when he reported back in the next episode that he was fine, had a couple of stents put in, etc. It's not that simple. He would need to be out at least a couple of days to have the stents put in. I wonder if the guy really told his wife. I wonder if he's in denial.
