    Saving Hope

This show premiered last night and it's pretty good. It's about a doctor who gets in a car crash on his way to his wedding. While he's in a coma, he's allowed to walk the halls of the hospital and talk with other "patients" and "spirits". Because I like it, it'll probably be cancelled, but I can "hope" that it will be "saved".

I thought it was okay. Erica's character grated on me a little bit. I always cheer a little harder for Canadian made shows (like this and the newly airing "Continuum"). I'm not sure if it has the chops to make it, but I think it has strong potential. There were a few unforgiveable things (like the extreme lens flares) and I'm not really sure what the purpose is to have him roaming the halls? Hopefully we'll find that out soon.

I'm intrigued. It seems like he might develop some compassion with the out of body experience. I like Canadian shows, so I'll stick with it.

I thought it was an interesting premise as well. Hopefully it won't get yanked off the air after one or two episodes, that drives me nuts when they do that. Sometimes the networks don't give enough of a chance before they cancel shows.

It was just okay for me. I don't care if its stays or goes.

It was just okay for me, too. I like the idea of him becoming more compassionate through the experience, but I'm not sure what the point is yet or where they want to go with this.

I am also in the okay boat. Kind off just watching it because it's the summer and if a better show comes along...adios.

It was just okay for me, too. I'm mostly watching because I love Michael Shanks' work. But, the new seasons on USA, TNT, and AMC are filling my summer schedule quickly, even though there's not been much conversation about them on this board.

yeah - it's okay - didnt' realize it's Canadian, but a better watch than The Listener. What is it with Canadian shows and the voice overs?

this show would be fine without him milling about the halls - it boarders on A Gifted Man, which was a better show.

I LOVED a Gifted Man and I am still bitter it was canceled. I keep comparing the two shows and this one is coming up short. I also liked Combat Hospital which didn't get renewed so this Saving Hope will have to pull something out to win me over soon. I think the young doctor who is having the affair looks like Meg Tilly.
That was a great message! And I've had a terrible day, so thank you.I love random acts of kindness.Really, realy appreciated.Scott- RIP SDL<3
