I agree. He has no personality. Kelly has been taking the center chair for the past couple days. I'm not sure why b/c she stated before that she liked the end seat b/c she could see everyone and not have to turn to her co-host
I can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either

I agree that Matthew Broderick was a snooze fest. I almost fell asleep watching him myself. I think he has got to be the worst co-host she has had so far. Zero energy.

Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here. Are any of you familiar with Bret Michaels? He's a rock singer. He also won Celebrity Apprentice a couple of years ago. He's quite a character. He's very personable. Nice, A great conversationalist. And different. The guy is really smart too. He looks different, but I think he would do great.

I love Bret, but a daytime show, I don't think it would be his type of thing jmho

Maybe. I definitely think it's a stretch, but I can see it. It wouldn't hurt to test him out. I wish they would. The big problem would be that he lives with his daugthers in the desert, away from the limelight. Moving to NY for the show would be an issue, I could bet.

I read an article (prolly about a month ago) that pretty much stated that those in contention for Regis' chair have already been short-listed and they will be repeating these co-hosts over a period of time. I would look at anyone who keeps popping up every couple of weeks or so to see who they are continuing to test.

We pretty much listed all those guys that we have seen repeatedly and none of them have been especially appealing.

I saw an article talking about them bringing people back for the short list call-backs too, and the article I read named names. I remember that Seth Meyers was on the list since he's my favorite. However, I remember seeing an article a LONG time ago about the short list that was supposedly Andy Cohen, Anderson Cooper, and Mark Consuelos. That turned out to be totally false, so I'm not sure how much trust I put into the current reports.

Pat Kiernan The NY1 news anchor has had a callback. I really like Pat.
Not sure he could carry this show though.

Matthew Broderick was PAINFUL to watch. He may be an awesome actor, but he has zero charisma in a talk show chair. I could scarcely bear it.
