Was Gayle King's show on OWN better than Rosie's?

And yet it wasn't cancelled. Gayle moved on to what she saw as a better opportunity, but if she hadn't, I bet her show would still be on OWN. Wonder why?

Gayle's show would probably still be on, because it was probably cheaper to produce. Since it was a simulcast of her radio show, I would imagine a lot of the production costs were paid for by XM instead of OWN. With Rosie's show, OWN had to pay for all the production costs. So with that expense, plus low ratings, they probably didn't make enough money to cover it.

No, that would be Donald Trump.

In the battle between Rosie and The Donald none of us are winners!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Totally agree, Uncle David, but by the way, it's really NOT a battle between Rosie and Donald, it seems to be solely Donald's war against Rosie. And he apparently cannot/willnot let it go or get over it!

    Re: The Rosie Show

Actually, it was Rosie who fired the first volley...

"It began right before Christmas, when Donald Trump pardoned Miss USA winner Tara Conner for indiscretions (she was a party girl), saying everyone needed a second chance. Rosie disagreed, saying Trump was far from "the moral compass for American youth."

    How it all began...
