I noticed, that, too — though in a deliciously sinister way!

    Re: Alcatraz

All I could think of with keys and the vault was Once Upon a Time and the vault where the EQ keeps all the hearts she's "collected" I'm sure the conversation at the 1960's dinner with Lucy and her talking about her work with puliing memories must have something to do with all this. And all the blood they're collecting... Are they all clones and and the originals never actually left but are all cryogenically frozen in some giant vault or something under the prison? Someplace different of course from the other secret area under the prison Maybe one group was working on something that was supposed to be for the "greater good" but there was another group that had their own reasons for doing - whatever all this going on now is. That of course would imply though, there was anyone halfway decent on Alcatraz, and from what I can see so far the prison staff is just as bad - or worse - than the inmates!

    Re: Alcatraz

I like the show a lot & will continue to watch as must-see-or-tape. I like the way each episode has a beginning, middle & end, but has overall mysteries & clues moving them along.
I can see it's becoming Criminal of the Week, as some have speculated. I kind of like that as each episode & criminal gives a little more info on the whole mystery.
I also love the 3 leads. Each fits his/her part very well & each has a distinct personality & interesting back story, & a concrete reason for their interest in Alcatraz & the story.

I continue to like this show and will continue to watch. The criminal of the week stories stand on their own, but each also seems to play a part that contributes to the background story. The characters are interesting to me.

    Anyone else still watching?

Enjoyed the most recent episode - Johnny McKee, chemist turned poisoner. Of course, most of that enjoyment came from the return of Jack Sylvane. Jeffrey Pierce is one FINE looking man!

My son and I watch it, but on demand later in the week. (The sad part is that I don't remember why we don't watch it on Mondays.)

    Re: Alcatraz

I watch it on Tuesdays because a) I'm not usually home on Monday nights and b) when I am home, I watch Hart of Dixie because the CW sucks at uploading episodes and Fox gets them up the next day.

I enjoyed this episode a lot - more than the last few....I'm sure it had nothing to do with the return of Jack Sylvane! I love the developing crush/flirting between the Diego and the cute doctor/coroner/forensic scientist.

Yes, I'm absolutely watching and enjoying it very much as I do with most Bad Robot shows. It's very well acted, well written, and, unlike many shows, it stays suspenseful. I have ideas and guesses as it what is going on, but they change from time to time and I'm not sure of any of them. I love that.

I like the supporting players over the leads. I mean Jorge and the lady that played Lucy formerally of ER. Really have their backgrounds plus they have personality. I think Emerson is a jerk and the female lead who plays Rebecca, really seem to be one-dimensional characters. I take the supporting players over the leads anyday.

Maybe you weren't meant to like Emerson.

Emerson keeps being in the 60's stories, but not enough to see what makes him tick. I want to know what else is there that's causing his obsession. There's got to be more that he knows.
