I was wondering if the actress was pregnant. It seemed a likely reason for writing her out for a while.

I actually just found out about the actress who plays Rosalee being pregnant during taping. That explained so much - and I was surprised I never thought of that. I just kept wondering how sending her away like that was going to help the story line. It all seemed so strange. But now it all makes sense. Looking forward to her return.
Just found out her son was just born on September 12. Yikes. I have no idea how long they film, but I'm wondering how much she'll be in the show this year.
I guess she was too far along for them to have written it into the show. I'd love to see Rosalee and Monroe with a baby Wesen. Of course, I think baby anythings are adorable. :)
It belonged to her father. When he was killed, she came into town to close it up, but remained to run it. I think there was an incentive *cough* to do so.
So...we got to see a piece of the captain's wesen face and learn that he is half witch on his mother's side. Not so royal, but royal enough to piss off his half-brother. Since a true cure is not possible, we'll be witnessing his fight against his urge for Juliette. And, since, she has also felt the pull, this could be interesting.
And notice the warning...it could be tough on anyone who gets between him and his obsession..aka Nick.
So the prince's mom didn't want the family contaminated with a half hexenbiest...so is the prince's family some other kind of wesen? Or are they some other kind of human...like, vampire? He's implying he's very old. Did I miss something?
I didn't hear him identify his origination, but there are Royal (the very old families) in the wesen. Apparently they've been out of true power and, at least this family, is trying to return.
It was her brother's... she first appeared March 20th and this is an excerpt from the episode guide on NBC:
However, the brother could have inherited it from his father..... that part I'm not sure of.Quote:
Though the owner tries to fight off the robbers, he comes up short and gets shot dead. Nick and Hank later arrive on the scene and are left wondering why anyone would kill the owner of a tea and spice shop. They assume he must have been dealing under the table and decide to go through his inventory with a fine-tooth comb to see what they can come across. .Nick contacts the owner's next of kin, a woman named Rosalie. They bring her into the station to learn more, but Rosalie is unaware if her brother was dealing anything illegal. Upon her request, Nick escorts her to the spice shop to take care of business, and Rosalie, a Fuchsbau like her brother, discovers that Nick is a Grimm.
Ah, it was her brother. He looked older from my memory. Thanks for bringing the description over.
Best scene was Adelaide meeting and interacting with the Captain's half brother. Both characters are totally wicked and devious and it was simply delicious to watch.
Second best scene was the Captain being interviewed by Munroe at the spice shop. How uncomfortable he looked asking for help.
