Missed the first season. I've got my eye on DVR watch to catch a rerun of the entire first season. If anyone knows of a marathon coming up prior to new season, post it here. I cant set my DVR since the search brings up nada as of today.

American Horror Story: Asylum returns tonight! I ordered season one on DVD which I will power-disc my way through this weekend before I watch season two.

I loved it! I was so into it that when the episode ended I got upset because I wanted it to just keep going!

I don't know yet about this season's show....last season was pretty bold but good and creepy, for sure.
This first episode was really gritty and pretty difficult to watch at times. But I watched. It definitely has it's shocking moments.
I will probably continue to watch...DH loves it.
I must admit I didn't like the addition of the Smoke Monster...esp with Terry O'Qinn.....much to similar to Lost.

The season for me is a bit more disturbing than necessarily scary. But in this case it's a good thing here. I'm not so sure about several of the aspects of it, but that's what made the first season so good as well.

BTW - Quinto is good in this as the doctor character, but he's a little too clinical to me: he sounds too much like Spock to me in this week's story.

Most shows I will just wait until they come online or on demand. This show I will not miss it! I love how creepy it is. Hate that the teacher met her end though. Gonna have to go back and watch it again to really see the little details.

    Re: American Horror Story (FX)

Question for those of you who have seen both seasons: I am still working my way through season one and my understanding is the two seasons are actually independent of each other. Can I start watching season two not having finished the first one? Are they any little things that have trickled over that would only make sense to someone who has seen the first season?
