I don't know how many people know it, I just happened to stumble on it, but Flashpoint has moved to ION with new episodes.

No commentary about last week's episode? Partway through the show, I was thinking it was a decent episode, but it didn't have me on the edge of my seat as a few have. But the end was a whole other story! Carter blew his cover (not to mention that she didn't report the crime that Reese told her about), and then Reese was seriously injured. Surely he will be OK. They can't be killing off one of their lead (and most gorgeous) characters this quickly. But what will happen with Carter's storyline? Seems to be taking a turn.
I really like Finch more and more each week. He has such a heart and the actor does a wonderful job of showing it in his facial expressions.
I can't believe they left us hanging like that until after the new year! Well, I can, but how cruel!
I never miss this show. Michael Emerson is a fantastic actor who, until Lost, did mostly comic roles, frequently in theater. As I'm sure everyone knows by now, his Lost role was supposed to be a three to six episode arc, but he wound up one of the major stars of the show due to his talent to make a villain compelling. As we discussed a little in the Once Upon a Time thread, there are a few actors who have that "audience authority" to draw you in. He's one of them for sure.
I am also delighted to see the expansion of Taraji Henson's role. I've been expecting it from the beginning and happy to see it come to fruition. She's another one who just adds to the show in all her scenes.
Something happened when Carter saw Finch. It was his presence that convinced her to help Reese. Why? (and did Finch ever drive like a badass - he was whipping that Town Car around like nobody's business!)
Also - I don't know how this is possible but Jim C is getting better looking as the series progresses. I think it's the cropped hair and sexy tailored suits. Mrowr.
I noticed the same thing. I think it's because she remembered interviewing him (this was part of an arc over a couple of earlier shows) and realized that they (as in, Reese and Finch) were working together to save people, that Reese wasn't just randomly killing people. I figure she has more questions for both of them, but first up was getting Reese some health care. (Not in a hospital, because gunshots have to be reported...Finch must have some kind of medical contact who could help in this situation.)
I think also that perhaps she remembered how she was screwed over by her superiors during the interrogations in the Middle EastOh, that one's easy. Finch is probably a co-owner of Holt Clinic, LOL.Quote:
