The potential victim was an extremely unlikable jerk this week. That makes a difference in how much I enjoy the show.
Even Elias was far more likeable than this guy. Who Elias really is & what he does is his problem, but his personality is actually OK, even interesting.

I didn't like the victim, but I didn't dislike him either. I found him such an odd duck that I thought he was an interesting character. His curiosity and observance had me intrigued. And he was a man of his word. When he wagered his car and lost it, he was a good sport about it. OTOH, he was so rich it would be like wagering a Timex watch and losing it for most people.
This episode probably paled by comparison because we weren't on the edge of our seats wondering how Finch or Reese would be saved, which seems to be what most of the episodes have been this season. We're spoiled! Next week looks good with Zoe making a return appearance.

I'm a fan of Jimmi Simpson, so I liked him right off the bat - and he always plays ecentric very well.
I love that he knows Finch and Reese's secret - you know there had to be some kind of threat out there since they just rapped up the FBI going after the man in the suit and the Annie Parisse s/ls. and we still have Root to deal with, since she's still out there.

My husband and I swore we recognized Jimmi Simpson. But when we looked him up on imdb, we didn't see anything he'd been in that we would know, except maybe Date Night. I'm pretty sure I saw that. But I don't think my husband did. Has he done commercials or anything else I might have seen him in?

Last night's show was FANTASTIC! I figured it would be just another rescue episode, but it had so much more going on.
Zoey always brings smartness, sexiness and fun. Iher and Reese together.
Fusco got some action! He did a good job of taking out those 2 guys by the van.
Poor Carter! It looked like she had a promising romantic life, but he might be a bad egg after all.
Last but not least - Root is back in the picture! We knew she wouldn't stay gone for long, but she's getting closer to her goal.
The only thing missing was Bear! Throw him in, and it's a perfect show!
