yes, Root kidnapped Finch, played by Amy Acker

Reese's partner that left him for dead is Kara, played by Annie Parisse.

    Re: Person of Interest

My favorite scene from last night, I almost didn't notice...

Back at the library, Finch is pacing around the table, sudden turns, keeps moving. Bear is healing centimeters off Finch's left leg, just as he should, and sitting when Finch stops. Wish my dog had been so well obedience trained! Love Bear, and he seems to be fully Finch's dog now. Glad to see Finch doesn't seem concerned about going outside any more.

Do you think Finch was just a doyon of the museum (?) or do you think he owned the facility by then? 2006. When are we going to find out how he became a billionaire?

So, another Lost alum appeared on last night's show. Wonder who will make an appearance next.

Is Finch's girlfriend the same actress who plays Arlene on True Blood? I kept staring at her last night thinking how familiar she looked.

I thought Fusco's date was cute.

Also - every time I see Mark Pellegrino now I yell "Lucifer!!!" LOL (only Supernatural watchers will get that)

Ah, that's why the husband looked familiar, LOST! Couldn't place him.
I don't think Finch owned the Guggenheim (doesn't fit his low profile), but I think he was the anonymous donor of the painting that his sweetie had loved her junior year in Venice. And being the donor no doubt allowed him to be in the Guggenheim after it closed for the night. I suppose it is possible a docent could be allowed to do that and bring a guest, but I don't know when Finch would have time to be that good of a docent. I love these flashbacks on his love life, so sweet. Do I remember rightly that she thinks he is dead? For her own safety (and his)? The way he keeps lurking around her she's going to spot him one of these days.
Fusco's date was very cute, and I liked Carter's little flirtation with the police officer as well. Lots of romance in the air, practically a Valentine's episode! And I liked the way she and Reese can joke with each other about their respective dating lives.

    Re: Person of Interest

Last night's episode was another treat for me. I figured out quite early that the couple had each put out a hit on the other and it was fun to watch it unfold. I also liked the romantic interludes for Fusco and Carter; hope we see more of that from time to time. Finch's romance was another major highlight, and I totally adore Bear.

I had the same thought about Finch being the anonymous donor of the painting, PWS.

A couple of Lost alumni I'd enjoy seeing would be Josh Holloway and Mira Furlan. Maybe William Mapother, too, whose whose work I always find more appealing than his more famous cousin, Tom Cruise.

    Same here.
I was watching the original Saw movie a couple weeks ago and both Michael Emerson and Ken Leung were in it. They go back way further together than Lost.
